[FT] Dundee 2 - 1 Rangers (Garner 62)

Recommended Posts

That was a really difficult watch but unlike some other games we've turned around, 2 goals instead of 1, away from home is going to make it even tougher. The same weaknesses we've had since last season are still there and Murty isn't going to be able to change those overnight. But surely between now and the next match he has to make us tougher to break down and tighten up the back-line.

That was utterly appalling with not one player capable of even doing the basics.

Almost every player seems to have chucked it mentally and we can't even match Dundee in a physical sense. For 5mins before Dundee got their second, we looked slightly better but then gave away a dreadful goal. McKay shat himself in the wall and the 'keeper was left exposed as none of our defenders bothered tracking the run.

As for the first goal, well the least said the better.

Not sure what has happened to this team but not one can be considered a Rangers player at this kind of standard.

It has been clear for months that we need an upgrade all over the park, but at least we had way of playing with MW; I don't know what we are doing here? We can't expect a team of players not known for their physical acumen to suddenly be physical; that wasn't what we were about -- although I do expect the basic physical ability in any professional. We need a manager/coach in ASAP that can build on what MW started.
