Similar to Holt, perhaps PC sees problems elsewhere he wants to address with subs or starting line-ups? Unless he is capable of going straight into our starting XI immediately then there was no pointing in buying him. A total waste of money. 917 191 Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 PC has been in 6 months and produced two of the worst results in our history. Mind you Gordon Strachan had a start like that at Celtic. However the real issue for the board will be the £5million we shelled out for Pena & Herrera, who can't even get in the team. That was how they fell out with Warbuton, as he wasn't playing Garner & Senderos. Pedro' signings have been worse, so it's fair to assume he will get a worse appraisal. After the Celtic game will be when the axeman cometh. I could actually imagine us falling about 20 Pts behind by then, but beat them! Rousseau 9,508 Posted August 23, 2017 Share Posted August 23, 2017 Why are we lumping Herrera into the Garner/Senderos category? He's been good, but unfortunately he is injured so can't play. Pena has the pedigree - that's partly why we shelled out for him - but we knew he had problems, so it's going to take a while before he's ready; he's not played for a long time and you also have to factor in the culture change.
