The only lifeline I can give the Ref is did he see the Kick or just the push in the back? If he saw the kick then it was a red card. If he just seen the push then it was a yellow.

Another diabolical performance from yet another cheat of a referee. It's gone way beyond a joke now.

I don't see how he could possibly give the St Johnstone player just a yellow for the kick at Bates. He has clearly seen the incident so it cannot be anything other than a straight red.

And Morelos first half goal should have stood or a penalty awarded for Shaughnessy holding Bates

Aberdeen could slip up v Motherwell at fir park but they seem to be good against the lesser teams.

There’s real quality in this side now and that’s why we’re winning consistently. Poor results for us over the past season and a half were put down to “lacking consistency”, when they should have been put down to lacking quality players and tactics. 

 

Goss, Docherty and Murphy are quality and they’ve made a huge difference. Morelos is quality too even when he doesn’t score. Great to watch these players just now. Wish there was a way to sign Goss in the summer, only 22.

And one mitigating point on the ref, he at least gave the free kick that led to the goal when all the BT pundits were saying Davidson got a touch, despite the replays clearly showing he didn’t.

It's all very well having quality in the squad. But no use if the hammer-throwers are allowed to boot them out the game and they're left on the treatment table.
