Goes against what Gerrard has said. Only way it could be true is if Gerrard has changed his mind on formation and want to be playing with 2 strikers. The 25-year-old is former Gers' midfielder Stuart McCall's first addition since taking over as Iron manager earlier this week. Former Newcastle keeper Alnwick moved to Rangers in January 2017 from Port Vale for an undisclosed fee. By the time his loan is up he'll only have another year left on his deal though so who knows.
