I think the much more traditional Martin O'Neill will fancy Worrall and want him back. Time will tell but I think it'll be a concern for Gerrard because he clearly rates him higher than most on here.

There is a good chance this will happen IMO. O'Neil has a tendency to fill his teams with big players and cloggers.

Agree with those worried about a Worrell recall under MON. His type of anti-football, high ball back to front and physical all over the pitch will see him look at Worrell (I'm sure he will have watched the OF game where Worrell had a fine game) and think he is worthy of a place in his team/squad. Also will see it as weakening us which will be a bonus for him.

I hope SG is preparing for his departure. Perhaps giving McCrorie another chance at CH as his chances in midfield are reducing with Davis coming in and talk of a change of shape which may mean we play with one less CM?

Gerrard has made his feelings clear on McCrories position. He is a midfielder not a defender.

And I totally agree with him. McCrorie was a bomb-scare as centre-back and not really tall enough. He is my first pick in the midfield in that more defensive role.
