Do you think not having any bears in attendance will affect our players?

I think once a match kicks off the crowd become a background noise only that the players pay little attention too unless there is a goal scored.

I don't really buy into the crowd being the 12th man stuff tbh unless off course the 12th man is wearing black.

Big question for me is Balogun or Bassey? otherwise I think the team picks itself. Wouldnt include Sands personally. Aribo, Arfield and Kamara should get the nod.

Not really.

 

I think there are some instances where a crowd can impact the team but it's pretty rare, especially in the UK, where the atmosphere at football is about as intimidating as a trip to the supermarket.  

 

Tims are more irritating than scary.

I'd agree with this. having to deal with bile and vitriol is not a 'good atmosphere' no matter how much our media try to convey it as such.

Have to disagree about crowds, they do affect games and our players have been affected by it often enough.

Crowds might effect some players, others maybe not, but they definitely effect the referee and linesman. 60,000 howling at every 50/50 tackle or offside gives them an advantage, without a doubt.

Which is why I often thought it would be a good idea to bring in a referee from outside. Do you think someone like Pier Luigi  Colina would stand for that nonsense?

I watched the Hibs V Hearts game last night and Don Robertson totally lost control of it. It degraded from a football match to an overly physical junior game very quickly. On top of missing two penalties for Hearts. Our officials are not fit for purpose.

The first one especially was ridiculous. I've seen the handball ones not given (unless its against Rangers  )
