[FT] Dortmund 2 - 4 Rangers (Tavernier 38pen; Morelos 41; Lundstram 49; Zagadou 54o.g.)

MoM  1) VAR

            2) Xanagu or whatever his name is...

For us Ryan Jack. Der Berliner will no doubt recall an under-rated German international called Dieter Eilts. Jack reminds me of him: interventions from deep, short passes out of defence. Truly we have no one like him.

... well, Lundstram ain`t that far away. But all players rose to the occasion and fought like hell. We've come a long way from that game at the Scumdome, you would think.

I am still stunned.  Where did that performance come from?  I was filled with trepidation before the start.  To be honest we have that performance in us but our players played out their skin tonight.  We had some real heroes on the park  but to a man everyone played their heart out.  The team selection was correct and the switch to 3 at the back worked well for us.
