Could be that some fans will need a distraction.

The importance remains tiny in comparison to the league and Europe.

Didn't we draw any games last season? Must have imagined them.

We need to be better in attack and defence than today. We weren't terrible but we didn't create better chances and didn't take our half chances.

Whoever threw that bottle should be ashamed and jailed.

those were two very clear cut penalties we should have and the ref saw both.

The board must shoulder some of the blame, they knew how important this season was and the financial reward for getting to the group stages, but couldn't fund a couple of quality players in the summer transfer window to help get there. Many players are beyond their sell-by date, and have been for a while. Signing Ramsey was too little too late considering how long it needed to get him fit.

Sounds like a bottle hit a Celtic staff member on the head. Whoever threw those should be hunted down and taken to court for that. Absolute scumbags. Rangers need to act and find them straight away.

Under SG we were undefeated against Celtic for 2 years and prior to that, had defeated them at Parkhead and played them off the pitch at Hampden.

Under SG we had a style of play, the players knew their jobs and knew what was expected of them. We had Beale and Calshaw who is take back tomorrow.

Under SG we were 6 points clear of Celtic and had beaten then at Ibrox with a Covid ravaged squad.

Under Gio, we've surrendered that lead, lost twice to Celtic (one an absolute hammering, one a whimper of a performance).

We've regressed alarmingly since Gio has taken over, the league and the performances atest to that.

Board have a huge decision - either back Gio significantly if they believe he is their man, or remove him. Backing him with words is pointless.

Under SG we never played THIS Celtic team.

Under SG we played the very same style and very same players, with e.g. Aribo being shifted from here to there, as to this date, we seemingly can`t find hs best position (which should be No. 10, but Ramsey is better). Beale, Culshaw or not, we hardly changed the system or the players, no matter how they performed or not.

Under SG we never had such blunders from McGregor or godlson, yet toiled along to break down the brickwall brigade and only seemed to play well enough against team which either didn`t know us and our players, or who played open as well.

It is the players - the very same who played most of his years under SG who surrendered at the Scumhut and as far as I know, a manager still can`t whip his players for not performing.

Yes, on the field of play we failed massively, another post-turn of the year collapse. And if you want to hold anything against Gio and his men, it is that he promised to swap and change tactics and hardly ever did so. IMHO it is more telling that the support backs certain players to the hilt and lays into others like there is no tomorrow, while failing to see the glaring tactical errors week in and week out. But that`s nothing new.

Having done stewarding in the early 2000s in Germany, I am utterly amazed how bottles, tennis balls, streamers and whatnot make their way into Scottish football grounds.

Goes without saying that today was hugely disappointing. We should have built on our quick fire start but for some reason retreated and let them control the game. The 2nd half was so predictable and we could have played until midnight and got the same outcomes from the same pass/cross. Their CBs were getting to everything so I'm still bewildered that we persevered with the same one dimensional tactic. Oh well. The league was not lost today. It was lost in the countless draws against piss poor teams.

Haha - aye OK.

Gio took over when we were top of league, we are now 6 points (plus countless goals) behind in the league.

He looks lost, he appears clueless and we have regressed dramatically / alarmingly under his management.

I expected Gio to be an upgrade on SG, he has been anything but.

What both SG and Gio do have in common is both weren't backed in the last two transfer windows, whilst Ange has been backed to the hilt in BOTH.
