A routine 4-0 win in the end.  St.Boo showed in a few moments why they’ve done not bad so far this season, forcing a couple of very good saves out of McGregor.

Good solid performance helped by getting an early goal with Goalak doing what does. Like the look of young Ridvan and thought Goldson and Lundstram strolled it. Did anyone else notice how uncomfortable Kent looked on the ball when on the right wing.

Was there and happy with team mostly,however feel Matondo has nothing to offer.Was impressed by Ridvan's passing ability 3/4 perfect forward balls and thought Sakala showed well.

Sakala did well and Yilmaz looked decent when he came on. Thought Goldson was solid and it helps having Davies beside him

 

Colak took his goals well. Good day. Would have been even better if there had only been 94 minutes in Perth

I enjoyed the game today.  Goldson looked solid, Davies had a good game, Lundstrum and Jack did well and there were creative and exciting players up front.

Playing Jack and Arfield further forward not only made Lundstram's job much easier but allowed the two central defenders more time to distribute. It meant the forwards were less isolated and gave us more secure possession further up the field. The number of times Arfield and Jack were in possession in the opposition penalty box was impressive. It was noticeable how this changed when Jack went off. On the whole, an improvement on recent weeks and maybe heading in a better direction at last.

Very pleased today. It was an interesting starting XI with both Kent & Morelos on the bench. I thought Sakala took his chance but Matondo didn’t. Ryan Jack looking like his old self & Barasic very impressive again.

Davies looks a good CB & well worth the money we paid. And whatever we paid for Colak is beginning to look like steal of the century. 
Onto Wednesday night now. I’d prefer a 4-4-2 with Colak & Sakala up front

Matondo looked far more comfortable out on the left I thought. Looks natural for him to cut in. Great effort from him in the second half that hit the post. Looked dangerous at times at hopeless at others but young players can do. He needs games.

It’s funny, he couldn’t get a game for PAOK who are probably a good step down from us in terms of quality.

 

He just seems to be a great fit for us. The way we play 90% of our games we need a guy like him in the team.
