If this story is true, it's a bit strange. From what was said by Beale previously, the ball was in Tillman's court and he would decide where he wanted to be. If we have now offered to buy him, Tillman must have agreed to move. If Bayern are playing hardball, maybe Tillman will down tools until they let him go - as if.

So the option to buy we had for Tillman was the same option we have to buy on Haaland, Mason Mount or indeed any other player in professional football. Make an offer and see if they accept.

 

Sounds like some top notch negotiating skills our end. Wouldn't want to haggle with that guy.
