Yep, heard that an era or two ago over on FF. Someone described a raving reporter as being "just a bawhair's width away from the loony bin". -

I really don't think the transfer rumours will really pick up until Martin has had the players for at least a few days of preseason and he's had a chance to see them on the training pitch and speak to them face to face. Most return Monday, I think it will be pretty quiet until Wednesday next week at least -

To say that transfer news are slow is a nice understatement. Its speed can be measured in "Angstrom per Week" these days ... PS: The angstrom (/ˈæŋstrəm/; ANG-strəm) is a unit of length equal to 10−10 m; that is, one ten-billionth of a metre, a hundred-millionth of a centimetre, 0.1 nanometre, or 100 picometres. -

Ferguson still harboured hopes of the job permanently and knew he'd need to go on a good winning run to be in with a chance. No way he was allowing one of our centre halves to miss the last part of the season, even though it was all but over. The club was in such a state of flux with ownership change and senior appointments still not sorted no one was going to over rule him. -

I'm assuming medical staff, but you never know. -
My other half did yesterday. It was showing as completed but he didn't get a notification so he did it again and it worked. Mine went through okay but it looks like friends and family hasn't worked since the Hampden debacle.

Yes, but make sure you let me know - I input all the scores into a spreadsheet as it is easier to tally up the scores. -

I think that Real Madrid score duped everyone! I was up at the time and watched the last ten minutes. After the first round of matches it seems Compo is getting good intel from his local bookie. -
Anyone else having a problem with club website regarding purchase of tickets?

Souttar in race to be fit for Champions League
JohnMc replied to Sutton_blows_goats's topic in Rangers Chat
In terms of who gives Jackson and co his stories that's easy, it's Barry Ferguson. Our previous manager enjoys a cosy relationship with the tabloids where information passes both ways. The framing of this story is interesting. It's putting pressure on Martin, the man who got the job Ferguson wanted to keep. It also discredits the decision makers at the club and John Souttar. I wonder who that benefits. I'd be astonished if the club CEO, new director of football (or whatever his title is), medical staff, Souttar and his agent weren't all involved in agreeing this. -

A player who should never have been signed in the first place. Way too injury prone, and not good enough when fit. -

I'm not sure the exact (contractual) ins and outs but I doubt the club can force and employee to have an operation when he doesn't want one. -

Whilst I don't disagree, someone from the medical / management team allowed him to play in meaningless games for both club and country. Whoever that was is as guilty as Souttar. -

If this is indeed true I will be very disappointed if this was approved by anyone at the club.
