  1. Really dont see the point of having these awards dos when there is a month to go of the season and all the important games still ahead of us. Apart from it being yet another way to fleece the fans of course. And as for Goldson winning some sort of achievement award, it makes a mockery of the whole event. A bit like when Ricksen & Hartson were joint POTY in 2005 when neither player was in the top 5 best players at their clubs.

  2. Compared to PSV and Ajax the Feyenoord youth set up isn't that successful. I mean it's still better than ours, but that's a low bar. I thought bringing in someone from Belgian football made some sense. They've been pretty successful producing players in recent years and with a population around twice that of Scotland's copying whatever they're doing seemed logical. I've no idea if Zeb Jacobs was the right guy to implement that. I've no idea if he'll be a huge loss to the club. Perhaps whatever he's done over the last couple of years will bear fruit in the near future. Maybe his successor will get the credit, or blame, for that. Rangers and Scottish football in general aren't going to start producing seriously good players until the entire league is changed and it won't matter who we bring in to replace him. It is no coincidence that Celtic brought through a batch of decent young players when we were out of the top league. Since we've returned they've developed nothing like that number. Young players aren't getting a game when a couple of draws are a crisis and three defeats will see a manager sacked.

  3. You mention style can you explain to me just what style do we play at Ibrox because i can’t see anything resembling style tacticycall it whatever you wish all I see is a bunch of slow players knocking the ball side to side and backwards can’t remember any of our lot playing a nice through pass or linking play by driving forward playing a one to one pass and opening defenses up

  4. I'm happy except where Silva is concerned....gone right off him. Can see why he can't get a start in the EPL.

  7. Thought this would be the unanimous award this time, Butland was the star man by a country mile, with only Diamande of the outfield players looking not scared of the weight of the occasion.

  8. Fair points especially about Lammers. With Hagi I just think it is time to move on. I think we would still get quite a few million for him too

  9. With Goal Machine Kelechi Iheanacho, if reports are to be believed.

  10. Because Hagi can't get into the Alaves team does not mean he is rubbish. Because Lammers is getting the goals in the Netherlands does not mean he would do the same for us. It's all about fitting into a team's style and building relationships with team mates. I'd like to see Hagi come back and see how he plays under Clement.

  11. We should be asking for about double what we paid for Lammers WHEN we sell him. Hagi cant even get in the Alaves team so time to move on

  12. Come home Sam. All is forgiven. Next year, a dual striker partnership with the "goal machine" Dessers.

  19. Sell him while he is in form in the Eredivisie, Feyenoord are sniffing around and Utrecht want him and so will others will in that league. Sell while he is hot property maybe make a profit on him.

  20. The Westfalenstadium was the inspiration for modern Ibrox. Most stadiums were oval shaped with a running track whereas Westfalenstadium was 'square' with 4 separate stands each close to the pitch. Rangers directors visited Dortmund and were so impressed they chose that style of ground for the new Ibrox.
