It'll never happen. We could have one player single handedly dismantle celtic, score all ten goals in a 10-0 victory,...and someone will still find a way to vote for Butland 😄.3 points

Why is it managers seem so rigid in there philosophy. I was listening to the man u boss saying he has been brought in to play a certain way and that's that. if it doesn't work then off he goes. It just makes me think of Warburton and the "plan a" and doing plan a better when it doesn't work. Why can't they adapt and change things, when it's not working? If short passing isn't working, switched to direct. If 4231 isn't working, switched to 442. Surely the idea is to find a winning way and keep the opposition guessing.3 points

I don't think he was expected to start - he only got a run because Raskin was injured - Clement said as much. He's picked up a few number of votes in our MotM threads, so he's been a good purchase for most. @compo wants to make him captain!2 points

He does seem to have slipped down the pecking order recently. Wonder if he can play RB or CB.....??...2 points

He's been one of our better performers. He's a young home grown talent. Yes.2 points

Thanks for the replies folks. Every time I watch us, it's just looks like the same old pish. It's like we have no creativity, no flair, grit, determination and the worst part of this is that other teams can smell it off of us. Every games we play, I always expect the worse.2 points

Most managers with strong philosophies focus on core principles like pressing style, passing directness, and width of play, rather than being tied to a specific formation. These ideas can adapt to various formations because modern football demands flexibility. Formations often change during a match depending on the phase of play—whether the team is attacking, defending, or transitioning between the two. The foundation is more about how the team plays, not just where players line up on paper.2 points

Managers that switch like that cannot compete against those that have a well-drilled philosophy. There's also a difference between tactics and philosophy. Most modern managers will have a recognisable philosophy, but that doesn't mean they don't adapt tactically.2 points

I still think we'll be working with a one out, one in policy.2 points

Still would if we had an old hand playing alongside him sometimes you’ve got to be bold when selecting your team ..1 point

Young Baron is one for the future but he needs better players around him in a way he reminds me of a young Alex McDonald when he played at Muiriton .1 point

I agree. That Ridvan vote was just @Graeme Ro55 torpedoing my dream of a unanimous vote.1 point
-
To be fair, we're that bad, folk are voting for Ridvan as MotM😀 He did start of well but just my opinion, he was found out in Europe and in OF game. That's bound to happen as he is still inexperienced at this level. Raskin is showing great levels at the moment and as is Diomande (not as consistent as required) so Barron will need await his chance when it arrives.1 point

Sterling at RB and hopefully Balogun back at CB with Propper?1 point

Most pointless thread ever. Lawrence Shankland - for the millionth time will not, and never will be a Rangers player. Not January 25, not Summer 25 not January 26. Never has been and never will be anywhere near good enough anyway. I doubt we will have enough dough to sign anyone and we wont exactly be inundated with offers for our muppets. Last post on this pointless thread for me1 point

Wouldn't be surprised if they bring in Shankland that will keep some of the fans happy the rest foaming at the mouth 😆1 point

We wont do anything as the season is over. Only expect some outs if we get decent bids and get some wage thieves off the payroll.1 point

Don Robertson - chopped off perfectly good Roofe goal at ibrox in first OF game last season. Called over to VAR for alleged foul by Dessers who dispossessed lagerbeilke. Never a foul in a million years Nick Walsh - chopped off Sima goal in SCF after Hart missed corner. Claimed he was pushed 😂. Beaton on var got Walsh to look at it & he was only too delighted to help out his beloved hoops David Roome - the AR( linesman) who missed 3 ( yes 3) offside Celtic players at their winning goal in the 2019 LCF. For the record Collum was match referee Daniel McFarlane - up and coming young known yahoo protege from the Collum stable….one for he watching1 point

The real Tillers were pretty good at high kicks. Probably get sent off for dangerous play.1 point
