Are you Alan Gow ?
-
No, there was a trip on Adam at the end of the first half which could easily have been given. The foul in the 2nd half was, I think, on Cousin which broke to Thomson before he sent it over to Miller. But there was definitely a foul on Adam. Either way, we can include the Cousin sending off, the foul on Adam but neither cost us points - as they are contentious I would suggest that in the interests of objectivity they go down as "Maybe against us"

Spurs have accepted City's bid for Berbatov - 37 mill !!
-
And one not given penalty too - when Adam was tripped at end of first half.
-
BBC Sport are now saying they are not just trying to sign Berbatov but are also in talks with David Villa and Mario Gomez.....
-
Seems Mark Hughes has told SSN that he is meeting Berbatov this afternoon. If he goes to Man City it has to be for the money as Spurs are a bigger team than City IMO. I think Man U hoped to use Campbell in the Berba deal, hence why they were not too keen to sell Campbell to Hull
-
Apparently 30 mill

Man City have bid for Berbatov - the transfer window has officially gone crazy !!

Hutton back to Gers ? I was surprised to see the Corluka one go through too.

Shroomz, should you not update your signature ?

Very much depends on why you dislike him coming in the first place, as you say BD. If you disliked him because of the badge-thumping and the fact he played for them then he will NEVER win over those fans. I am in the camp who voted "not yet" - scoring his first two goals for the club and it being against them is great, but he needs to produce performances and goals over a sustained period. He put in a shift that is for sure and his first goal was a decent finish if not fantastic and he looked like he was destined to actually MISS the second one.
-
I meant from an attacking sense. Fair point though - funny that Scott Booth reckoned there was "nothing in" the first one when Charlie Adam was tripped - that was very close to stonewall for me. The second one though...... did the ball not break to Thomson who subsequently floated the ball over to Mr Miller to break his scoring duck for Gers ?? Would you have preferred the penalty or the goal ?

That is the first game this season in which Celtic have played and they have not been the lucky recipients of a dodgy decision....... and look at the result
-
Pretty sure the booking was for throwing the ball at the linesman.

Class - I couldnt be happier that our win was sealed thanks to another fuck up by him in particular. And they reckon he is one of the best GK's in the world..... he isnt even the best in Scotland. Muppet !

Me thinks that you are using players to suit your argument Gribz. You say that with average SPL players like Boyd we wouldn't have won. You have also called players like Broadfoot and Adam average SPL players..... they didnt seem to do too badly today did they ? Average SPL players such as Broadfoot, Adam, Miller and possibly even Thomson all played their part in turning over that mhob today. Let the Boyd thing go man - he will play and score goals - it is a squad game these days and we dont have the money to spend 3 or 4 mill on a guy to replace Boyd and have him sit on the bench. Enjoy the win today instead of concentrating on a player you want rid of. I think you are as obsessed by Boyd as Jon is......

no it didnt show that gisabeer

Not so Alex. If Celtic drop into the UEFA and go on a run then they still clok up coefficient points. And if you read calscot's post differently you will see that he WANTS Celtic to go on a run so that they DO increase the coefficient.

The toughest group of the lot for me is the Real, Juve, Zenit group. I think that would be as hard as the group we came out of last year (if you were to consider us the "BATE" team)
-
I got 17 too.

I just spat my coffee out at the thought of that. Talk about a one way ticket back to the Championship. Of all the players you mentioned to be shown the door I have to say that LM would be the FIRST on my list (yep, even before Gow and Adam). We would get half decent money for him but IMO he offers our team very little. Now that we have Mendes and Davis back wer have a midfield that likes to play it on the ground - the only true positive (if you can call it that) with LM is his aerial presence - in a ball-playing, swift inter-change midfield like we saw first half at Pittodrie he would look like a lost schoolboy. Please let it be so that we get him off the books. Re the others, you are right Frankie - the manner in which we deal when selling players these days seems to be very amateurish at best. We should have been making a more concerted effort at off-loading these players when the window opened - not having a fire-sale when it is about to close.
-
If he isnt going to get a game then fine. I just hope it isnt the beginning of the end for him
-
That is a classic one-liner to be fair !

BD, I fail to see how you answered the OP's question. He wanted to know what Baxter's FLAW is - far as I can see, all those items posted above are certainly NOT flaws.....

Might have served us well in Kaunas then....... "fish:
