Going for Dessers. Got the winner after a well-timed run, was unlucky with a header and his general hold up play was pretty good. Kudos to Jefte as he really gave the team energy.

He's just a lawyer, not a decision maker. I'm not saying he didn't do a poor job but it was presumably King who decided to use him. -

Yet another Dave King legacy cost. -
We're clever people. I'm sure we could understand your point if you made...in fact you have done...again. Yet again, you've claimed that in the war against the nazis that the wrong side won. Maybe you're trying to be oh so clever but if something looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.... If you wanted to stay on the site then you should care what Frankie thinks. 👋

Yes, it matters. It's getting the club some dreadful press and could harm us in numerous ways. The whole "Chelsea headhunters" argument reminds me of the red hand salute. We can argue what it actually is until we are blue in the face but 100% of our enemies and 100% of neutrals will believe that both have nazi symbolism and it is extremely damaging. Thankfully the red hand salute has largely disappeared and hopefully we won't see that flag again. I'm not approaching unknown guys and I'm sure many would be the same. These guys should be banned and I hope that someone is "telling tales".

We don't want pro-nazi postings on this forum, so maybe you should find one that does.

Our problem is getting a replacement as we definitely don't have anyone as good as him in the current squad. -
Looks as if Ticketus got back around £1.6m

I believe that it's all been settled now. There was a settlement agreement with HMRC of £56m of which they received around £8m. The company is due to be dissolved on 24th October.

I don't think you have to have been a manager to have an opinion.

I was supporting England after Scotland got eliminated. Not sure what's cringy about wanting a British team to do well.
-
He's been unfit and tired and shouldn't have been near the team. Southgate didn't have the balls to drop him and it cost England big time. England reached the final in spite of Southgate, and not because of him, and one of his biggest failings was not dropping Kane. The team couldn't function with a forward with no pace who kept coming deep. They were playing with one hand tied behind their backs.
-
Absolutely. Some Scots want them to lose through a healthy (albeit one-way) rivalry but many are xenophobic and their dislike/hatred of England is how their Scottish identity manifests itself.
-
Kane is a liability to the team. He looks tired and has no pace. One of his strengths over the past couple of years has been coming deep, but England don't want him to do that as he just gets in the way of Bellingham and Foden. Watkins is much more suited to the system that England are playing, but we all know that Southgate doesn't have it in him to drop Kane.

The ref was generally fine, apart from the penalty decision. He didn't give it initially then was sent to review by VAR and then gave it. My view was that it wasn't a penalty as it was more Kane kicking the defender than the other way around but the defender's foot was up with studs showing, which Is presumably why the ref gave it. It's certainly a controversial talking point.
