  1. I'm beginning to think that the worst thing about the Rangers crisis is the f*cking twitter reporting with the f*cking twitter speak and the f*cking hashtags. SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH! iT'S NOT F*CKING HARD!
  2. Sure it's the SFA and the IFA to blame, rather than Pearce? It was them who refused to sanction Scots and NI guys rather than Pearce himself.
  3. Green will have had this planned long before the RFFF meeting.
  4. Now isn't as good a time as any. Green needs to prove himself before many will invest. Forget about the anti-Green mob. THere's still a majority of the support out there but they need to see plans and a track record.
  5. Yeah, it seems that there's a lot of things being forgotten about by all sides, including a plan.
  6. I'm not allowing anyone to speak for me. I'm just looking at the situation dispassionately. From memeory TBK were waiting a couple of years before looking at a share issue and even that may be on the early side. I know of plenty of people who don't fall into the anti-Green camp who would be unwilling to invest at this point in time. The ship needs to be steadied. It's a bit concerning that they are looking at a share issue at this point. Who do they feel is going to invest and why do they need the cash right now? Perhaps all will be revealed but it's not a good sign in my book.
  7. It's far too soon to ask fans to invest in shares. There will be virtually no take-up. Firstly they don't have the cash and secondly they need to have confidence in the new management of the club.
  8. You have a chance of getting finance if you can supply a business plan. You've got no chance of getting a meaningful business plan if you don't know what division you are ging to be in and what sanctions, if any, will be in place. Still too many unanswered questions.
  9. Yeah that would be of much more relevance.
  10. Surely it's a matter of public record as to who owns these properties? Surely there are far more important issues to be dealing with than to be going around asking for verification that Sevco Scotland owns them? Also if I was sending someone in, I doubt I'd be going for a QC. He may be good at arguing that someone is not guilty of murder in court but I'd much prefer a business lawyer to be going in, who does this kind of thing day in, day out, rather than one of Brown's mates from the speaking circuit.
  11. There's a lot of uncertainty about the club at the moment with the lack of players and the division we are playing in. However we are debt free and and got rid of potential baggage and can start afresh. To value the club now, you have to take acocunt of the future. Where will be in in 4 or 5 years? Back in the SPL, presumably with minimal debt, and hopefully with reasonable players, and not in a loss making situation as we would not have the same level of high earners? How much is that club worth? £30m+? If something could easily be worth £30m+ in 5 years, then what is it worth today? The value it was bought for is not that relevant. I'd say that the club could be worth £15m as it stands today. Perhaps Green has come up with the same estimate and is starting at £20m and happy to accept £15m? I don't feel that our club is only worth £5m-£8m. It's worth far more than that in my relatively inexpert opinion, and that's what makes it frustrating that these potential buyers could not have put in half decent bids a few weeks ago.
  12. :surprised: So you think that none of the RST board need to stand by the decisions that the Board reach and it's OK for board members to come out and publicly criticise or contradict the decisions of the Board and are OK to stay in their position on the Board?
  13. Sounds like you're trying to oust Green
  14. They want to own Rangers. That's what's worth the money to them. They can buy anything they want but nothing would give them the boost that they get from owniung the cub. They wouldn't get that with a 20% holding. The numbers probably do stack up as tyheydo with the model that Walter outlined today. Stick no money in, suffer for a few years but get back into the SPL with minimal debt and sell the club for 50%-100% profit. Perhaps I misunderstoood what you were meaning or you misunderstood what I was meaning. Anyway let's move on. It certainly would be proven if he starts selling some of the assets. However I doubt that he's going to do that. We don't need to think like each other. We all want the best for the club but just have different views as to what has or has not been proven about Green and whether anyone else offers a better alernative. One of things that people have forgotten, and this applies to both sides, is that we all want the best for the club and neither side can offer a definitive viewpoint and it's arrogant to think otherwise or to define what makes a good Rangers fan as I've seen some trying to do.
  15. What was wrong with the transfer of the assets? What was wrong with the transfer of the directy debits? If he'd started from scratch, you'd be criticising him for that as well. What was wrong with the attempted transfer of the players? All he could do was try and make them transfer across. No matter who was in charge or what was done the outcome would have been the same. Just another attempt at gratuitous Green bashing.
  16. Because they want an element of control for their cash and I doubt that they would get that under Green. There's an element of ego with all millionaires and they would all want to be seen as top dog. That comes across as if you'd get pleasure in that. The support has become very polarised over the past few weeks. I'm not sure who is going to end up owning the club but whichever side it is I doubt that many of the allegations on either side will be proven one way or the other, and the one thing that we will need is the support to come together for the good of the club and look forward and not take an attitude of "I told you so."
  17. Withdrawn by selling their shares? What's the difference between this and Green?
  18. There would still be the same problem with banks. They would be looking for a guarantee and even then they may not do it. I asked RBS/Nat West for a credit card facilty for £200K of business spread over the year for a company I was involved in. They refused even though I offered to stick £200K into an account as security and was therefore of no risk to the bank. Bastards.
  19. That was fine when the RFFF was meeting to perform one specific function. The working group could have got more involved in matters outside its remit but chose not to, as you are aware. The RFFF has now taken over some of the responsibilities of the Assembly, it seems.
  20. So is the Assembly now obsolete? Will it be disbanded?
  21. Nobody is suggesting that they get forced out due to their views on Green, but you can't have the committee coming out with one statement and then members immediately saying exactly the opposite. It's not pro or anti Green but there needs to be consistency.
  22. Does the Association have anyone on the RFFF committee? If members of the RFFF committee are unable to accept collective responsibility they should stand down. Surely you would agree with that?
  23. I'm sure most people who had DDs in place were more than happy for the existing ones to be used. he only people complaining about it are those looking to be offended. The issue was satisfactorily explained by the club and is a much more believable than the lauaghable theory that the club was trying to "steal" from people who had cancelled their DDs. Again there are plenty looking to be offended. A chunk of our support are turning into MOPEs (and I'm not lumping you in with them).
  24. Penance for what? For going into administration? W've already done our penance. For being liquidated? We could have had a CVA and continued in the SPL with no pronblems oter than for HMRC taking a non-commercial decision to go for liquidation. I fail to see why we should serve penance due to an ad-hoc decision/policy by HMRC.
  25. Good answer. I'm undecided as to what will be best for our club.
