    it certainly wasnt accounted for last time our debt was announced. That point was highlighted at the time.

    given the fact that the CL money from this season has not been taken into account in the clubs finances would it not be better for any consortium to wait untill that cash is actually in the clubs/ banks (delete where applicable) hands. At the moment were 31 mill in debt. say for talks sake we get 10 mill from the CL then that takes the debt down to 21 mill. Im not as astute as others are when it comes to the clubs finances but i really cant see the bank walking away from the club knowing that sort of revenue is comming in. So i dont expect any takeover bid to happen untill the CL money has been paid out.

    if we ever needed hard evidence that the bank is in fact running the club just as walter said then we need look no further than the players we brought in today. i wonder if mr bain was trying the get now pay later ploy or offering cans of coke and a bag of sweeties as an incentive? im one pissed off bear tonight.

    reporter spoke to martin bain : it is highly unlikely there will be any new signings in the transfer window. saw it with my own eyes. so we can forget all the new names being banded about. also no mention of the real madrid story.

    i wasnt aware of any new signings at that time zappa. the davis deal was certainly hurried through after the cl departure from what i remember.

    the combined loss of 10 mill in cl and the 18 mill speding spree is the debt that is currently dragging us down. smith to blame for his crap management and murray for chucking bundles of bank notes at him to appease the fans.

    for what we paid and what he earns i think we have waited long enough to see what exactly lafferty does. two goals in twenty games this season is scant return. Andy little is already half way there in catching up his goal tally! Were not in a position to carry passengers and that is exactly what lafferty is. He just isnt producing the goods.

    We can hope till the cows come home but walter smith must surely look at the boy and realise he has made a monumental mistake. Lafferty is bloody terrible. It is beggars belief that he continually gets selected given the standard of his game play. smiths biggest failing though. not seeing whats staring him in the face.

    What exactly is it that is expected of this boy when he plays? does he have to turn in a 5 star performance to justify his selection? Score a hattrick every game? How the jury is still out with some give the fact that the boy has spent 99% of his time with his arse planked on he bench is beyond me. FFs get off the boys back and give him a chance to find his feet. Hes certainly doing better than the likes of Thompson and whittaker who more than deserve any critisism aimed at them.
