  1. Oh God, please don't let this be just another fabricated rumour. Please, please let it happen. And let them have a complete brain fukk and take Lee McCulloch too.
  2. Dammit. It's true he's an obnoxious gay shitebag
  3. It's true he's an abnoxious shitebag:)
  4. Never mind that shit, I just heard Elvis ate one burger too many.
  5. I liked Vignal too when he played for us but you do get a bit jaundiced by the endless stream of ex-players getting media exposure by saying they wish they'd never left when they did. If they enjoy it so much why do they always leave. But they do and they always will. Are we expected to be impressd by these platitudes? Fair enough if they leave but save us the guff. I much prefer the story about the guy who came to Rangers and stayed. Stuart McCall, Richard Gough, Ally McCoist, Ian Ferguson, Andy Goram, John Greig.
  6. Sorry Craig, I meant to say I WOULDN'T bet money on you being wrong. But I don't think we've had the best squad these last few years. Not much in it but we never seem to have had the right balance in the team. Which all comes back to management and coaching staff. Perhaps the area where we've lagged furthest behind is exactly what you say - attitude. Self-belief has been in short supply at Rangers these last few years. Pish poor leadership. No one will tell me that there aren't many inside Ibrox who see the same problems with Murray as I do. They cannot be blind and anyone who has run a company will tell you how easily morale can be eroded unless the right message is coming down from the top. I don't think anything has really improved at Rangers - just that sellick seem to be hurtling down to our level of incompetence and that what little momentum there is seems to be in our direction at the right time of the season. Sorry for the confusion.
  7. I would bet money on you being wrong. However, it's no longer just about us. What I believe has changed more recently is that ra sellick have lost all sense of consistency and are looking as likely to drop daft points as we are. Win this weekend and that may become a trend. They needed to strengthen during the transfer window and I believe they made a mistake in not doing so, especially when the could have. If they lose on Sunday they will find it very difficult to turn this decline around. I equally wouldn't bet money on that theory but you can almost sense the cracks appearing at parkhead.
  8. I think he's fundamentally wrong in any case. It may be de rigueur these days amongst media savvy footballers to understate the importance of winning or losing specific games but the match this weekend probably is make or break. None of us is clairevoyant but if we win then I think it's likely we'll go on and take the title. Lose and we probably won't.
  9. Dear Mr Angry, It's a genuine delight to read your posts. There are not many who would see the world the way you do. Please keep up the good work. All the best, Maineflyer:D
  10. Completely agree. This is the age of the willingly offended and they wield their victimhood like a weapon. Of course, it's not only football. It's in every aspect of life. I strongly recommend anyone interested should take the time to read The Abolition of Britain by Peter Hitchens, who explains this debilitating phenomenon in a more lucid fashion than I ever could.
  11. Wonder if the forces of darkness have anyone playing tonight?
  12. Just a natural born agent of chaos. As for Kaka, the guy is a protestant from a kafflick country so ra sellick would obviously never sign him in the first place. But if they did, but if they did, I would reject him like a rabid dog and use him as an excuse to make ludicrously intolerant posts on obscure internet forums. Our playing squad would be weaker but we'd still have our pride. Here's a thought for you though - with all our new-found moral maturity and acquired sensitivity, are we any more successful as a club and are we any more unified or respected as a support? We used to sing about being up to the knees in feenyan blood and thought it was a party song. The other mob sang their party songs and we laughed at them. Now it's intensive victimhood and moral outrage - and it has only served to harden the hatred. I remember driving back to Aberdeen after the 1991 League Cup final with a car load of bears. Stopped for petrol at Dunblane and gave a lift to this sellick supporter who had somehow been left behind. We took the piss and sang the songs all the way home and he gave as good as he got. I dropped him off in Brechin, shook his hand, called him a dirty rebel and moved on. Do that today and there would be a barrage of complaints - from the other Rangers supporters, afraid to be seen to be what the media has taught us all to be ashamed of. This world truly has become fukked up.
  13. I was thinking more of Assistant Kitman.
  14. Oh my. Surely not. I'd rather keep Miller.
  15. You need to wind your neck in a bit pal and stop taking everything so seriously. This is just a football forum. I couldn't give a monkey's whether Craig is pc or not, or anyone else for that matter, and I was actually just trying (badly) to wind him up. From what I've seen, he's a lot better equipped to see off any challenge than you are. I don't understand why you feel the need to rush to defend everyone on here. Are you the site policemen?
  16. You like your sanitised analyses. However, even so far removed from the visceral reality of the old firm, you cannot possible promote an argument based on comparing Kenny Mhiller and Kaka, and expect anyone to do anything other than laugh. That really is funny. Ahahahahahahaha - see? And I still say it IS being politically correct. Of course it is. Without that basis, you would never contemplate signing the enemy. Of course, I realise it is a very powerful addiction, which is why most of the country now seems afflicted with it.
  17. Two interesting issues. Firstly Kenny Miller would struggle to improve Albion Rovers so it's a rather academic point you raise here. Secondly, if someone tells you he moved his allegiance from Rangers to sellick or vice versa, there are two possibilities. he's either a liar or he never knew true allegiance. Anything else is transparent bullshit and that isn't seen every day either. Too many people afraid to feel their emotions. If anyone believes a football team is a purely cerebral experience then they are only partially committed or they are living in denial. Of that I have no doubt.
  18. Funny, that's exactly what they said about Grobbelar.
  19. I don't think his concentration has ever been better.
  20. Everything is compromised. Now we can't even profess to dislike our rivals in case we endanger our reasonableness. Personally, I wouldn't sign anyone who has played for sellick. What a sorry pass when Rangers fans see one of their players in a sellick shirt and are moved to see it as something to reflect their pc credentials. Spew. Funny how we can write about our admiration for committed Rangers men of the past - Bobby Shearer, Harold Davis, george Young, Tiger Shaw, etc, etc but we shun their commitment ourselves. Watered down supporters. Victorian? If that label does it then I'll grasp it with both hands.
  21. Yes, and I agree - but in the end you can only pick from the players you have at hand. Nothing is ideal at ibrox any more.
  22. It's not as if we're blessed with lots of choice but I just don't see a better alternative that Naismith and Boyd up front. Lafferty will not provide chances for Boyd and hasn't shown much evidence of taking the chances he gets himself - albeit he's seldom been played in his natural position. Boyd won't make chances for himself but he will take them if they're made for him. Naismith can play wider and will hit the bye line. Given we don't have midfielders of fullbacks who will provide attacking width and given Novo's injury, I feel we must have Naismith on from the start. If Naismith can provide a bit of width he will also open up space for Fleck to move forward into, which is another must.
  23. Wouldn't be the first time either.
