Sorry about that .... I have thing about Olivier Bernard being the worst signing Rangers ever made but, while he was a dreadful, lazy little bastard, there probably have been even worse than him if I'm honest. Big Eck probably signed most of them.

No, from the bank's perspective, the best outcome is to spend no money and still qualify for the CL. But that would be a strategic outcome and I can tell you from personal experience that today's banks cannot get their heads far enough out of their arses to see beyond the end of the week, never mind think strategically. Perhaps if their balance sheets look sufficiently healed by the end of this year we may see some sense return but I've been amazed at the headless chicken behaviour of several banks these last couple of years - some of it below schoolboy stuff and really pathetic. More than a few business relationships will never recover.

I think you can be fairly sure Adam is moving before the end of the month and �£600k is the least we can expect - but exactly when we would receive it in the bank is quite another thing and our big problem these days is undoubtedly cash flow.

There's always more that can be done. Whether it will be enough to make a difference is another matter but there's a useful clue in the old Derry war cry. It would always help to get a few things straight however, before looking for agreement. I'd suggest the following principles would do less harm than most.... Don't look to existing organizations or 'leaders' to affect change - it will only reinforce inertia. Don't try to revitalize existing organizations or 'leaders' - it will only reinforce inertia. Promote a simple but consistent message along the lines of 'it's up to the ordinary fan'

There's not a bit of that I would disagree with. Unfortunately, I'm at the old game of describing the problem rather than the solution....... for the very reasons you give. But there is at least some value in keeping on raising the problem and trying to refine what it really is.
