    The guys over on Vanguardbears are celebrating an important anniversary. Apparently it's 24 years today since Ra Sellick last won an away match in the European Cup/Champions League proper, when an 82nd minute goal from Murdo MacLeod earned Celtic a 1-0 win away to the mighty Shamrock Rovers. Speculation is rife that preparations are underway for the impending "silver" celebrations. Happy Anniversary Bheasts! (don't you just love it)

    I'd be interested to see some evidence for what looks more like wishful thinking than a reflection of reality. Perhaps you're actually just closing your eyes/ears to the monotony of it all because I see no sign whatsoever of the change you claim ... Haven't heard anyone else mention it either but I'll pass your thoughts on elsewhere and see if folks elsewhere think a few words from Ewan Cameron constitutes a reversal of the onslaught.

    Bit late for that mate. In this country today everything has been hijacked ... Irish, catholic, republican, these are all concepts reconstructed to represent that disaffected infestation now embedded into Scotland life. For 150 years they have systematically set about warping the fabric of Scottish life, until nothing is left that hasn't in some way been tarnished and compromised. So forget definitions that might have meant something else long ago, or how we should react if only things were other than they are. They only way to make any difference today is to see them for what they truly are, to understand their motives and to treat them accordingly.

    Why don't we just take the editor's advice and use the word FEN1AN at every opportunity, since it quite accurately describes most supporters of that rancid football club.

    Lifelong Rangers fan - if he's a Rangers man then it's in his dreams alone. I can't find the words to describe how I despise the self-loathers who have tried to make Rangers their home in recent years.

    The Scotsman used to be a Scottish newspaper. Now it's a propaganda platform for the republican and catholic communities in this country, run by catholics for the benefit of catholics. From their online forums to the printed page, they never pass up an opportunity to undermine Rangers of that part of Scottish life that they think we represent. Fuck the Scotsman and all who work for it.

    I believe the approved phraseology is "spewing bile" not tripe. Beyond straying from the accepted clich�©, you also seem to be a tad too precious about the whole affair .... I know RC's who have played for Rangers and have sung that song. I'm always intrigued at the way the too-willingly offended invariably assume they should set the standards for the rest of us. Well I'm in no way offended by the song and have no intention of seeing those great supporters criticized for singing it.
