  1. Well done to the lad and it's interesting to see that he's been listed amongst the forwards as opposed to the midfielders.
  2. Don't forget to post your predictions for the Cowdenbeath game before kick-off tonight folks! Do it here - Predictions for Cowdenbeath v Rangers - SPFL Championship match 11 (GPL game 19)
  3. Was it a popular suggestion? I would find it very strange if it was popular over there, although there always seems to be people who'd cut off their nose to spite their face if it meant they got to stick a long knife into the RST's back or get one over on the Trust in any way possible. Getting back to the point though BH: I don't think your answer to the question was good enough and the minutes were extremely confusing on this particular point too, which is bizarre when you say you got a draft copy, suggested or requested amendments and presumably approved the minutes. Specifically, that single section of the minutes reads: AH: A question posed by RSA and another club: Why aren’t we having the Rangers Supporters Trust or other fans bodies represented on the RFB? (Clearly the question.) It was a democratic process and open to everyone (Clearly the answer, but by who?) Suggested that Rangers do not meet with other fans groups now that we have the RFB in place (By who? Completely unclear.) Agreed to discuss with the Rangers Board of Directors as to what their plans should be going forward (Regarding what exactly? Again, completely unclear.) Lastly BH, do you actually agree with that suggestion which was "raised on another forum" yourself?
  4. To talk about the lizards from outer space?
  5. Point? I posted a full list of the recent trades out of interest since it's a subject we're discussing. Feel free to highlight which ones relate to George Taylor. Regarding the 72 hour period subject, it's worth noting for anyone that didn't spot it before that the announcement stated that the transaction date and date which the 3% threshold was crossed was 29 October with a trade of 200,000 shares. Assuming the announcement was correct, then that specific trade was probably the one listed as being at 11:28:05 am on the 29th. Please tell me if any of that is wrong.
  6. Here's a list of the recent share trades. Maybe someone in the know could highlight the George Taylor trades.......
  7. Is that somehow relevant to this discussion? What am I missing here? Btw, neither myself or Frankie insinuated that we 'know it all' or that anyone here is 'ignorant' or is that something else I've missed?
  8. The Scottish Cup is the big one though and I doubt very much if they'll deliberately throw a match against 'them' in front of a packed Tynecastle.
  9. He wrote: We're probably missing something, but it would look like either that statement is wrong or the notification details in the TR-1 form contained in the RNS announcement are wrong. The only other info I have is that neither George Taylor or Morgan Stanley were listed in the top 18 shareholders on 13 September last year when someone took this screenshot:
  10. You just never know 26th. Hearts are capable of causing an upset in that one.
  11. After the total farce of the last so-called 'league reconstruction', the last thing we need is another farcical reconstruction saga.
  12. Could have been easier, but at least it's a home tie.
  13. Teams we could be drawn against (in alphabetical order)...... Aberdeen Albion Rovers Annan Athletic Arbroath Ayr United or Alloa Athletic Berwick Rangers Brechin City Brora Rangers Celtic Cowdenbeath Dundee Dundee United East Stirlingshire or Dunfermline Athletic Elgin City or Bo'ness United Falkirk Greenock Morton or Airdrieonians Hamilton Academical Heart of Midlothian Hibernian Hurlford United or Stirling Albion Inverness Caledonian Thistle Kilmarnock Motherwell Partick Thistle Queen of the South Raith Rovers Ross County Spartans St. Johnstone St. Mirren Stranraer
  14. His non-exec position could just be temporary though. A foot in the door so to speak.
  15. Last November Somers was appointed as non-exec director and acting Chairman two weeks before being appointed as permanent Chairman.
  16. Don't forget to post your predictions for the Cowdenbeath game tomorrow night any time before kick-off folks. Do it here - Predictions for Cowdenbeath v Rangers - SPFL Championship match 11 (GPL game 19)
  17. Is there really any need for the provocative rhetoric DT? If you have further information or know something that hasn't been mentioned here, then why not just say so and clear this up? The only thing I can add myself having looked at it another time is of course it's entirely possible that yet again the TR-1 notification in an RNS contained errors or that it simply doesn't paint the full picture of what George Taylor did last week. Assuming it's actually correct though (risky as that may be), all the RNS tells us is that a purchase of 200,000 shares took him over 3% and triggered the notification. For all we know George Taylor could have had his broker spending the previous 2 or 3 days buying up numerous chunks of shares which took him up to just below 3% before that 200k transaction triggered the notification. If you or anyone else have more specific details or information, then please chime in.
  18. Why would anyone want to stop fellow fans from attending a League Cup semi final?
  19. Thread title now changed so as to not mislead anyone.
  20. Iffy? It's just plain wrong.
  21. Will 'members' and Morton fans get the chance of these tickets before fans who didn't renew their Ibrox ST?
  22. Stuart McCall quits as Motherwell boss with side second bottom in league 2 November 2014 20:53 GMT Stuart McCall has resigned as manager of Motherwell, the club have confirmed. The second longest serving boss in Scottish football has left his post after a slump in form which sees the Steelmen currently second bottom in the Premiership. McCall, 50, saw his side go down 2-1 at St Johnstone on Friday evening, their fifth straight league defeat. Assistant boss Kenny Black will take temporary control as the Motherwell board look for a new boss. Club director Derek Weir told the Motherwell official website: "Everyone at Motherwell FC would like to sincerely thank Stuart for his contribution to the club, which will go down as one of the most successful managerial tenures in our 128-year history. "We have been acutely aware of results this season, but everyone at Fir Park was confident in his, and the team’s, ability to turn things around. "However, following a long conversation this afternoon, Stuart felt it better for all concerned if he stepped down with immediate effect and we respect that." http://sport.stv.tv/football/298126-stuart-mccall-quits-as-motherwell-boss-with-side-second-bottom-in-league/
  23. Ally would be insane not to play Macleod. The lad is on fire and even when his head goes down he's still our best player.
  24. It was a fake formation like we've been fed from the Club so many times, but in reality it was 7 defenders (if you actually count Jig as a defender, that is!) plus black as the holding midfielder.
