  1. It gets more bizarre with every passing month. Has Chuck Green's dog & pony show ever actually left us?

  3. I'd love to get one of these for this season's GPL prize, but they're a bit pricey unfortunately.
  4. Done! Nice one mate, I'm sensing a festive special.
  5. No worries and good luck with the exams mate!
  6. REALLY nice gear! Since you didn't say fellow Admin couldn't enter I've just emailed my entry Frankie!
  7. Macleod will definitely be a big loss to our squad on Saturday, there's no doubt about it because he's got talent and awareness that some of the other players in our team weren't blessed with and it makes him a key player. It's nothing new either because over the past couple of seasons we've generally played worse without the lad when he was injured or sick. That said, we have a strong squad and should be able to cope no problem in his absence.
  8. Two threads on the same subject now merged...
  9. Thanks mate, so that raises various questions.
  10. Thanks mate, I'm a member of other forums myself like many others here and I'd love for us to work more together rather than ripping one another to shreds.
  11. As I pointed out earlier colin, there's plenty of people here who are members of other forums and I think most folk would prefer if there wasn't so much animosity. We regularly disagree and have differing opinions on subjects, both within forums and across the different forums, but there's no need for complete division. Regarding propaganda on forums, that's actually a very interesting subject because there's been propaganda posted on every single Rangers forum, including this one and at times it's been completely impossible to control or reign in because certain subjects over the past few years have literally grown arms and legs and got out of control. That said, this doesn't need to be as complex as the ongoing saga at our Club. All we ask here is for Gersnet members not to bad mouth other Gers forums or instigate slanging matches about other Gers forums.
  12. Try to stay on topic and play nice please folks.
  13. Listen please folks, if anyone has a problem with the standards on RM or any other Rangers forum, then take your issues up directly with their Admin team. Gersnet is a forum with a long-standing policy of asking our members not to bad mouth other Rangers forums in your posts here. If the Admin of other forums allow their members to slag off this site and other sites that's their prerogative, but Gersnet will not be brought down to that level. This forum has numerous members who are also members of other Gers forums including RM, FF, VB & DTB to name only four. We're not interested in getting into inter-forum slanging matches, so please let discussions elsewhere stay there. There's that saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". Please replace 'Vegas' with a forum name and take note. This is applies to everyone here.
  14. Since nobody has volunteered yet and I haven't done one for a wee while, I've put my own name down for this week's Rangers v Alloa Athletic preview. If anyone else fancies having a go at writing one just check out the schedule in the previous post, let us know what game you want to do and we'll put your name down!
  15. If you cast your mind back 6 months to May, the Club were apparently using Odgers Berndtson to advertise for a Chief Operating Officer and a Chief Commercial Officer and it was spoken about on the Gers forums including here. Given that - as far as we know - nobody was hired for either of those positions, it maybe raises questions as to what was going on back then and if those job ads were really for Rangers? Odgers Berndtson certainly don't have any executive positions currently advertised for a Scottish football club, just 8 oil & gas industry positions in Aberdeen and four positions at Dundee University. If the Rangers board are no longer (or were never) using Odgers Berndtson to advertise executive positions, it would be interesting to know what company and/or methods they're using to find a new CEO and FD.
  16. Does anyone know if they've actually advertised either of the positions left vacant since the departures of Wallace & Nash?
  17. We're still looking for volunteers to write match previews for a bunch of games this side of New Year including the Alloa game at Ibrox this coming weekend! 18. Unfortunately, it's a bit late for them to publish the full results now, but it would certainly be interesting to see them.
  19. People have asked for the voting numbers numerous times on this thread and you previously replied that you didn't have them, then said that you did have your own percentages. Unless I've missed it, then not once until today have you replied to the question of voting numbers saying that you DO have the exact voting figures for your own election, but not for other candidates. Today is the first we're hearing that you know your voting numbers, but can't tell us them.
  20. So much for transparency eh. There's numerous aspects of what's been getting discussed here that are as clear as mud. I think we all know why the actual voting numbers haven't been released though. That much at least is becoming quite clear.
  21. You're completely changing your story here Alan because you told us on Friday that you did not have the numbers. Hildy asked you the following question earlier in the thread: To which you replied with the following: So you didn't have the voting figures on Friday morning, but now you have them? When exactly was it that you were given them 'in confidence' then?
  22. Exactly, but I was also referring to fans such as guys from the Dave King, Jim McColl, Paul Murray & co camp who've previously tried to get onto the Club board via last year's requisition, then the AGM and more recently via King & co's £16m funding offer. Sadly, the GreenCo/BPH/Margarita/Easdale power block appear to vehemently oppose any attempts by Rangers men to get a foot in the door.
  23. The chances of the Club boards allowing any fans to be appointed to the board of directors under the current ownership and power regime at Ibrox are zero.
  24. Again, I'm not condoning whatever happened, but I'm finding it difficult to feel bad about their 14 year old son being present on Saturday when they were allegedly harassed. If it was a young kid then whatever was said would probably be far worse, but the majority of 14 year olds are far from innocent or fragile.
  25. Some of those Russian teams seem to have more money than sense.
