    Far be it it from me to speak on anyone else's behalf but, whilst not necessarily "out of malice," the scrambling to have Rangers in the 1st division demolishes any notion that this decision is for the greater good of the game. Perhaps for the same reason that pressure is now being put on SFL chairmen totake this into account? And you think it does? Deary me.

    I'm exactly the same, although I've felt that way since liquidation. Today just reinforced it.

    It's more than that - even if the fans unite behind what's best for the club, we will never be able to agree on exactly what that means. What one fan thinks is best for the club is probably not the same as what another thinks is best for the club. I doubt this will ever change.

    Perhaps but that was never going to happen. The Rangers support are a broad church who'd struggle to agree on anything other than supporting Rangers.

    I can't speak for the rest but I want to start in division 3 because it's the right thing to do. It's also the only way I'll renew.

    I agree to a point. 3rd division and I'll be at every home game. I stopped going to away games a few years ago. However, I feel no malice towards any SFL club. I fully intend to take in as many SFL3 away games as I can afford (or squeeze into because that will be a genuine problem at some of them). If, on the other hand, we are drawn away to an SPL club in the cup.....

    Regan is without a doubt the most incompetent, corrupt, hypocritical and mendacious employee of the SFA in my living memory. And I'm an auld bugger.

    I want us to pay back our footballing debts but accepting this division 1 fudge will probably signify the end of the ST road for me.

    This is exactly how I feel. This reported, Division 1 outcome is a fudge that will probably be the last straw for me.

    To be fair, if Rangers come back as a newco, starting each season with a points deduction in the SPL, I'll be boycotting them too.

    Non starter. Even if we were accepted we'd have to start much lower than that. You'd be looking at at least eight promotions before we got anywhere. If we're to reform as a newco,it's Division3 for me or the game's a bogey.

    The hypocrisy in this statement flabbers my gast.

    Devine's piece almost comes across as balanced until his last paragraph, where he makes clear that he sees no need to question, let alone prosecute singing in support of terrorism but simultaneously thinks we 'should hang our heads in collective shame' that religious singing is not prosecuted. His cards are face up, on the table.

    Only if you think all marks of respect for non-football related deaths should be kept out of football. If so, then fair enough. I'd still disagree though. ;-)
