  1. Whittaker actually played some of his worst games in mid-field,ironically some of his best games were at left back, all a matter of opinion I guess.
  2. Woods Jardine gough mckinnon caldow Greig barry baxter laudrup Stein. Forrest. Subs butcher, papac, Henderson macmillan millar brand and the best goal per game left winger in Rangers history Davy Wilson
  3. No greig,no Baxter? and mols and mccoist,? I guess you never got to watch Stein or the most prolific Scorer in Ragers history,Jim. forrest.
  4. Aye, Lawrence could build decent houses, but knew dick-all about running our club.Has Forrest and McLean fired, and guess who takes over the number nine shirt? his nephew Roger Hynd,go figure.
  5. Willoughby and Forrest were cousins,if I remember correctly.
  6. ,Being old. Enough to have watched every RAngers striker since Billy Simpson,l can tell you, although Colin Stein remains my all- time favourite,Jim Forrest was easily by far the most prolific scorer. we fact about Forrest and McLean being fired.Scot Symon was ordered by then owner John Lawrence to fire them. '
  7. Went up there for the 1969/70 scottish cup tie. When our bus pulled into the parking lot,the local bakers vans were parked right in front of the turnstiles, the smell of the pies and bridies was brilliant, and tasted just as good. We had a great day up there, the locals were really friendly, even after our 7-0 victory. Over 10,000 at the game that day,how many are allowed now-a-days?
  8. We have a history of shorter keepers(Peter Mcloy being the exception) George Niven,The Goalie,Klos and McGregor wasn't much taller. So,with me six foot is fine as long as he can stop the ball going in our net,he'll do for me.
  9. Mcoist is the one to take a long hard look in the mirror,It's his players, his team selection, and his tactics(or lack of should I say) As for inflated egos? I'd say the exact opposite is the case, these guys are playing without any confidense, not sure of the role they have to play, hence the utter chaos on the field we are subjected to, week after week.
  10. Just watched Ally's press conference on Rangers T.V. What's wrong with this pathetic wee man? Four five times he repeated himself. "I'm not looking for an apology" then goes on to say, that what has happened to us has put our club back years.Has he got something other than a spare microphone up his sleeve?
  11. Not his biggest fan,but I think Chesney was always destine for the Scotland job,and think he will get the best out of the obvious talent that's available to him.
  12. When you come to think of it, they never do.
  13. Absolute rubbish.you really do like being the centre of attraction, don't you?
  14. Let's be honest here Frankie, the players he has at his disposal, should be romping through this league. It all comes down to management, or lack of should I say.Not embarrassed about being beaten by a managerless team, say's it all really.
  15. Maybe the largest shareholder "Blue Pitch" will sponsor the renaming of Ibrox. Got a nice ring to it eh?
  16. I know what you mean.My wife bought me one, told me to get it on, it's no pink it's Salmon.
  17. "He's at a loss" that for me say's it all.
  18. I posted a few weeks back, having the same concern.Saying under Ally and his two buddies we would struggle to gain promotion
  19. Surely we've known this for quiet some time now.Why is he still in charge?

    Greg Wylde

Let's be honest now GS, Wylde was utter crap. Absence makes the heart grow fonder EH?
  21. Good post D'art, would be nice if you visited Gersnet more often.
  22. I see you have DRAW in capital letters.Predicting the outcome? if so you'll probably be right.
