  1. Good summary MF however, I really do feel he'll do the job, although he may need a season which isn't always suitable for OF managers. Is there any manager of Walter's stature that we could intice to Ibrox who'd be happy to have a paltry £5 million to spend?
  2. The only club that peddles bigotry is septic. How they manage to deflect their own shite and have the world tar all of Scotland with their problems is amazing. Fuck right off
  3. How's that even possible?
  4. Seems McCoist's a cert to be our next manager whether we're bought over or not.
  5. No sweat mate. No worries if it can't be tampered with.
  6. I would say Ireland would be good for timmy, although there is no way they could afford his wages. Attendances getting smaller, another year without CL money means their finances are taking a hit. If we're not bought over, I'd say their debt will be similar to ours come this time next year.
  7. Regan's 'unofficial employers' have nowhere to run now.
  8. The 'new posts' button under the GersNet banner. Top left hand side of the page
  9. Fook the pope and johnny Doyle. Lol
  10. A new era's dawning bears. Excitement and trepidation all rolled into one!
  11. In response to Craig's last post in the closed thread: When 'rich lists' are compiled are they on the cash in the bank or assets, or both?
  12. Eventually we'll find out his own motives for owning Rangers, and if it is asset stripping, like loans against Ibrox, we may see many men in royal blue chain themselves to the blue gates of Ibrox. He's obviously here to make money but as long as we see a tasty slice of the pie, I have no issues with him. Unless he dares to put up Ibrox as security!

    JJB Deal

It wasn't much different to what we receive now, if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure Rangers could have hired some retail expert to look at the options we had. Close the low turnover stores, bin the ticket office and make the shops deal with ticketing: this would increase footfall into the shops and you'd pick up sales from that. Once a month have a player visit one shop to meet with fans, again, increasing footfall leading to more sales. Different player for a different shop each month. Create promotions that could see you win OF or CL tickets. Loyalty cards or % off with your ST Ask the fans what we want, can't go wrong there. Endless opportunities for improvement!
  14. If it does happen 'quickly', then Jig should be worried! Our midfield is in need of some quality and he'd be demoted to being a squad player, IMO.

    JJB Deal

I've said this on numerous occasions. This must be terms and conditions attached to the service level agreement that has seen JJB default on. Jeez, before they found themselves in financial difficulty I'd have thought they would be breach on contract. Poor decision making getting involved with this mob. What shame when the 'buy direct' campaign saw us post sales above most Euro heavyweights. Only manure posted bigger sales in the UK.
  16. Is there another message AJ's getting at here? Does he think that the takeover won't happen and is carrying on as normal without giving thought to Craig Whyte?
  17. I've never been one for taking players back, and that won't be changing. Not many players leave Rangers and actually further their career. I liked Boyd as a player, although I was aware of his limitations, he scored the goals that won points for the team. It's been said already that the team looks better without him and I have to agree, we're much more fluent in attack now.
  18. His career started going downhill when he left us and sadly it'll continue that way. Can't see him coming back.
  19. Neil Lennon Neil Lennon And Neil Lennon. Stats don't lie.
  20. Ordinarily, I'd agree, but he's actually doing well when playing despite being an awkward git. His attitude is also first class that certain CB's could take on board!
  21. Noooooooooooo
  22. Calling NL. Whyte is one of us though, or so we're lead to believe. Ellis is intent on owning a big club and due to our current financial predicament, he thinks he can massage his ego and make easy cash. A basic macro-environment analysis seems lost on Ellis!
  23. Agreed. What's in it for him? He has no ties like we all do to Rangers, including Whyte. Epic asset stripping on the horizon?
  24. Could the 'new post' button be moved or enlarged? I do a lot of posting from my phone and I keep hitting 'forum' button instead of new posts.
