  1. Really? So this thread isn't one large over reaction? This thread doesn't suggest a crisis is on our hands? I see you base your opinions on one game, lol! I'll base mine over a longer period of time where I will have the opportunity to reflect on the good and bad. If that's peddling pish, then your honour I am guilty! Going back over this thread, let's look at one of your posts': Mr Smith has continually been unable to come up with the goods when it matters, 10 in a row euro cup final, euro CL games, 9 out of 10 posters on here would have won what Smith has, with the money he has had at his disposal, C'est la vie Tell me how he has never came up with the goods when it mattered? I have the feeling you might go down the road of riddles or cheap insults, though. Enjoy cherry picking my post.
  2. My reality check is that we are the champions two years running, the league's still in our hands, we still have European football to play for and two domestic cups. Crisis, eh!
  3. After one cold refreshing shower, my opinion hasn't changed - Knee jerk reaction! You're alluding to the money he initially spent on his return to Ibrox, but what's his net spend? What was the average wage bill when he took over to the present? What was the squad size and what is it now? I'm all for having a post mortem following the disappointment on Sunday - tactics, team selection, use of subs etc. You may have touched on something though, I hear he told McGregor to charge 30 yards to challenge grease monkey. I also heard that he told Bougherra to chop down grease monkey in the penalty box! Take these two incidents away, and timmy only had one more shot than us, we also had more possession. Now I'm not saying we played well, however, they're telling the world that they were simply great, absolutely fantastic. They weren't though, we never showed up If we did we'd have thumped them. We're four points behind with two games in hand. That means the league's still in our hands. That means Walter can rally the troops, reorganise and move forward.
  4. This thread might simply be the biggest knee jerk reaction I've ever seen on any message board. The man has flaws like we all do, however, his success since coming back has been nothing short of phenomenal given he's had next to nothing to spend for such a long period of time. He's leaving in May, the league's still in our hands, it'd be madness to want him to go because we were beaten by septic.
  5. Ness. Was the only positive from a terrible day at the office.
  6. I'm over it. on the way to the boozer, I had to laugh at radio snyde making out like Celtic had won something tangible. The lip service they were paying towards Celtic was hilarious. We were poor but so where they. Our biggest opponent is the amount of games we have and squad size, not Celtic.
  7. So did Glasgow cope with the sudden outburst of whooping cough on Sunday? I was there and close enough to them to realise that it was indeed a large minority coughing. Pathetic, ignorant aresholes.
  8. Looking good Zappa.

  10. Nice sentiment but I'll give it a by ball. If I wasn't a Rangers fan I wouldn't give the Scottish game a second glance. Bar a couple of glamour tournaments in Belfast I have never went to an Irish league game. If Scottish Football wants to improve then the fans of the other clubs need to follow & invest like OF fans do. Granted the OF are bigger because of their large support, but the others can do better, imo. I have argued to I'm blue in face over football with fans in NI. Their attempts at slagging the game of here are usually met with "how's Irish football then"? They moan about their own game, slag ours, yet don't support their own like they do with Man U or Liverpool. Their energies would be much better channelled into supporting Irish football. Again, imo. I don't really watch much EPL either as the game is nowhere as good as it's made out to be, except a few teams who we all know. La Liga for me when watching as a neutral. One, two touch football with fantastic movement of the ball. Personally we should be able to negotiate our own TV rights.
  11. I'd love to see that happen. Whether we ban them or not they're still write pish about us. What's the point in letting them attend our games, unless they have something on Murray?
  12. Absolutely! Best captain since Gough imo.
  13. Penned this on another site, thought I'd share see what feedback I get from here.
  14. Didn't Amo say it in his book? Sure that's where I'm coming from!
  15. Will the OF game go ahead? Would like to think that the pipes are fixed by now?
  16. Still blaming the squash courts, eh? Perhaps if he hadn't jumped into bed with Porrini's wife then things could have worked out better.
  17. Great investigative journalism. Or should 'investigative' even be a factor in something so simple?
  18. Good stuff Pete. The Novo penalty continues to make me emotional.
  19. Possibly the best news I've heard all week.
  20. Booooo Serious heat wave is required.
  21. Perhaps an announcement around the 2nd of January? Nice wee boost going into the OF game.
  22. Yip, Whittaker should have dressed more appropriately. Cracking pics however, thanks for posting them.
  23. Did you see the quote saying "they just ruined Jesus' Christmas"?
  24. They can't have top of the league for Xmas but Saint Walter might be able to help....
  25. As much as we'd be accused of cutting of our nose to spite or face, and an extension would benefit us, Walter is quite right in bringing up this issue. The SPL/SFA, whoever it was that made the decision in 2008, should be ashamed of themselves. They had the chance to help out one of their own and bring back the UEFA Cup and failed. Not only did they fail Rangers, but they failed Scottish Football. They set a precedent with their actions.
