Yup, drawing 7 of our last 10 home matches has cost us. To draw with Watford and Doncaster in the space of 3 days last month was the killer. Still fancy us to get the the final, I think we'll beat Cardiff. But Birmingham are on good form and Blackpool can beat anyone on their day.

Best we've had in over 10 years. Was really hoping we'd move away from Umbro but happy with this one. Its got a good casual (not as is soccer casual) look about it. Can see a knock on effect and a lot of clubs copying this.

What baffles me mate is how bad Villa are at defending when Big Eck was 1 of the best british centre halfs the country has produced. Yet Villa's defenders on paper are quality. I think 2 from Collins, Dunne and Cuellar should be on par with most defensive partnerships in the top half of the league and Given is easily one of the best keepers, yet some of the goals they have leaked have been shocking.

Have they been passed as fit and proper??

I dont have a problem with newco or starting in Div 3. It would be starting afresh and building back the empire!! Its more all about who is behind it. Its not like Wimbledon who relocated city and changed name altogether. We'd still be the same institution, same stadium, same manager, same players (those who dont leave - but players come and go regardless), SAME FANS. Not long ago we were discussing stadium sponsorship and thinking what if Ibrox was renamed yet to most it would still be Ibrox. If everyone at the club disappeared elsewhere and we were called Govan United or something with a completely different background / staff / stadium / colours then thats a different thing altogther....or is it!? Man Utd fans started another club in case the Glaziers run them into the ground. As for titles and history. That cant be changed. Id look at is as if we won the race. Titles: Rangers 54 Celtic 43 Years in Top Flight (since start of SFA league and SPL): Rangers 122 Celtic 122......If Celtic count continues they would need more years than us to achieve what we did.

Everyone watch the managers press conference , outstanding

What was the main things he said in the interview? The clip has been removed. -
Get in the Bayern.....Cant see Chelsea winning with Bayern being at home.

.....with 2 clubs from 1 city!!! If Villa go down he wont be allowed back near the city of Birmingham bar the Hawthorns. They really are dire to watch and they still have 3 tough games. West Brom away this weekend, they would love to put their neighbours in deeper trouble. I think they will stay up but only because 1 or 2 teams below them wont accumulate enough points to go past them.

I think Munich have put together a cracking side while all the focus has been on Barca, Madrid and Man Utd. I backed them in Sep to win it and didnt know then they final was in Munich. Got to get through a tough game tonight in Madrid though.
-
I thought someone was on the wind up when I heard this on way to work. I switched it off as soon as Barca went 2-0 up thinking it was going to be a cricket score as Chelsea were backs to the wall with 10 men. I backed Munich to win it anyway at the start. Will be nice to see someone else win it for a change. Would prefer Munich, if not then Real M. Dont want to see Chelsea win it then nick the 4th place CL spot from Newcastle if they finish 4th.

Protest wont do anything except make fans look in bad light. No action in our favour would come of it. Its simple...we dont participate in the Scottish Cups and dont go to away games next season...for starters.

SFA Ruling: Lifetime ban for Whyte; RFC signing ban for 1 year
Gribz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Can we still loan players? If so we'll surely see some people who have dignity in England lending us a few for 12 months. -
Sky running a wee page to celebrate 20 years of the Premier League by having a vote on: Best Match Best Goal Best Celebration Best Save Best Team XI Best Player and manager will also be awarded but not a public vote. Some of the choices Sky put up are a bit bizarre especially for best match, the 8-2 for Man U v Arsenal and 6-1 for Man City v Man Utd werent exactly classic matches.. I can also record a couple of saves Rob Green made when West Ham were the first side to win at Emirates in 2007 which would easily make the list. And Im sure there would be a few better goals than the 10 listed. You can see each one here: http://www1.skysports.com/20seasons My choices from the options provided: Best Match: Liverpool 4-4 Arsenal Best Goal: I loved that Yeboah strike but Bergkamps genius at Newcastle still confuses me when I see it. Best Celebration: Got to give it to Bullard for that piss take. Best Save: Craig Gordon. When he did that I was watching it live and posted it on here straight away that Gordon has just pulled off the best save ive ever seen. Best team: Going by everyone at their peak: Schmeichel, Neville, Adams, Terry, Winterburn, Ronaldo, Keane, Vieira, Giggs, Shearer, Henry. Left back was tough between Cole, Irwin and Winterburn but the latter being vocal and a bit more of a leader wins in for me. So tough to not include Gerrard, Scholes and Bergkamp in the team.

Thats shocking. Call yourself a Rangers fan or even a human? You need help!

Messi pips it for me - just! However he is playing in the best club side we've possibly seen and along side 2 of the best central midfielders there has been in Xavi and Iniesta. Id like to see how he'd do at Man Utd. Ronaldo has performed in 2 leagues and with 2 diffrent styles. But Messi's goals and brilliance is a joy on the eye.

Wigan doing well with 4 "Scots"
Gribz replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in General Football Chat
I like Martinez also and hope he gets a bigger club than Wigan. Wigan are usually a boring to even think about as they dont fill grounds and their chairman is a nuisance. But credit where credit is due, they have beaten Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal in a month and should have got something off Chelsea as they were robbed of the the first goal. They are having a go which is refreshing. Although Newcastle for me have been the story of the season! -
I agree with this. Administration and the toll it took was the difference. You look to the games we lost at Ibrox against Hearts and Kilmarnock plus away to Utd and the draw with Aberdeen....had we been going for the title and it hadnt the effect it taken on the players then id have thought we'd picked up at least 10 points rather than just 1. We'd have had stronger teams out in all games and not make shift line ups plus the division that was clearly there due to uncertaincy wouldnt be there. At very least we'd still be going for the title with 5 games to go. As for the Cup, I posted a few weeks ago that I was going to have a bet on Hearts winning it before they played St Mirren in the Quarters....really annoyed I didnt place the bet now.

And its one of the coldest places ive been to during April,....I was dressed ready to surf but it was 2oC! Touched down back in Spore Sat midnight 81oF and sweat like a dog.

Sorry chief! Same last season when Miller was way top scorer then scored and he deserved a mention for POTY. This season Naismith and Jelavic are out in front for me. In the current squad I give you Aluko and Bocanegra.....hope they are both in next seasons line up. Goian started very well but has had a few rough games but he could come good. Aside from POTY Davie Weir should not have been released so early.

Holy Shit.....was often wondering how you were doing and what you were making of things....Mrs Cammy must be picking up a shitload of hair your pulling out on current situation!!! I got to give it to you though Cammy...you did say this mess was coming years ago!!! Nice to see you back..I know we didnt always see eye to eye on many things but you ARE A GERSNET LEGEND

Just got back from Seoul last night....didnt see these buggers
-
Ooomph.....Naismith or Jelavic for me. Why is Whittaker even on the list? One magical goal against Motherwell will give him an auto start in the team.

Tradition? None what so ever. The Singapore national team was only created a few decades ago on the back of Malaysia. The national team are a mix of Malays, Singapore-Chinese and a few expats who hold national passports. Football in general is massive but its all a fake reality and focused on glory like Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. There is a huge expat community who support both Rangers and Celtic but its really not taking anything near as serious as it is in Scotland. There is however ridiculous money here so if the deal is right it could be a big one. As for the market, you cant buy a Rangers shirt here bar 1 shop and even then you have to ask for it, but there is Celtic shirts hanging in your face in a few shops but this is to do with makers more than anything else i.e. Nike advertise Celtic well, whilst Umbro dont even have a shop!!!

By the way HOUGANG United are equivalent of Cove Rangers. Nothing against Hougang, its a fine area although ridiculously busy at peak hour. I was driving through it 10 days ago and got so pissed off with the jam I stopped off for a second supper!
