  1. That highly versatile little number called Bringing The Game Into Disrepute would be my bet. One size fits all.
  2. Done, defibrilators should be in every sports complex and gym in the country.
  3. It's a trust issue, nobody has any faith whatsoever in anybody else at the club from Boardroom to tea lady, from management to players, trust was the biggest casualty in all of this. It'll take a long time to rebuild as well.
  4. At some point in 2011 an inter dimensional portal opened up and I was transported to a world where abject failure to govern the game results in six figure bonuses and promotion to European football administration, where the CEO of one side of a bitter rivalry can worm his way into a position of power and by proxy seek to damage and hinder his rivals success. This warped dimension is also one in which a state funded broadcaster can publicly and un-ashamedly persecute one club and it's fans. It's the only explanation.
  5. Game's a bogey. Last one out turn off the lights. Police officers, trained to tackle violent crime, comfort grieving relatives and attend emergency incidents are now diverted to point video cameras at football fans and ruin their careers, love for the game and potentially destroy their life for singing songs which have been decreed as offensive by people who revel in Republican terror and seek nothing other than further division in the people of this country. Before the sanctimony starts, I have no time for the Loyalist, Ulster, dead murderer nonsense but I think the way it's being tackled is akin to taking a sledgehammer to crack a walnut. Aggression and oppression only breeds more contempt, education is the way to tackle a cultural problem not criminalisation.
  6. Out his banger.
  7. Nobody comes out of this saga with any credit whatsoever, when are people going to realise that it's not a spectator sport? In the absence of anything resembling top flight competition, guys in suits have replaced the players and courts and judges chambers have replaced the hallowed turf. Depressing.
  8. The gravy train was an express service, no stops til it hit the buffers. What you described above should be clear enough to the CoS too though mate. Here's hoping some common sense prevails.
  9. While our fans rip each other to shreds over boardroom maneuvers they have absolutely no control over, our enemies are united in their efforts to destroy us. Divide and conquer....oldest tactic in the book.
  10. Yee-haw! ...or is it more "wife left me and ran off with the sherrif" type country?
  11. Spot on Darther, their recent history of selling players for huge money is at least partly down to pure hype. We don't do that enough, McCoist doesn't play the PR game well at all preferring to play down his players in the hope of keeping hold of them.
  12. It must be highly frustrating for the marketing and commercial people at Celtic Park, they give them success on the park, (albeit tainted) and are lording it with the cream of Europe and all their fans are interested in is the comings and goings at Rangers. If the shoe was on the other foot I'm sure we'd laugh and wind them up but we wouldn't half as absorbed in their mess. Mind boggling.
  13. Once we sanitise our songbook and generally keep our mouths shut they'll stop it all.
  14. Two questions: 1) Why? 2) How much?
  15. Do they transport McCoist's wages to and from the bank for him?
  16. Freedom of speech will never go out of fashion. Let's say our fans dramatically and unison stop singing the songs which are considered offensive or even illegal....do you think that will be the end of it and we'll be left alone? No chance, they'll go after Blue Blue Sea of Ibrox and all the other "clean" songs for tenuous reasons and eventually they will be tarnished. Rinse and repeat, throw in some political weight, some NUJ members hemorraghing printed bile and bingo onto the next one. The tit-for tat culture and perma offended mindset has to change.
  17. "A well placed Hampden source".....hmmm.
  18. As an Atheist and Secularist I find songs about a mythical sky fairy offensive. It's 2013 for goodness sake. You see? the same argument could be made against ANY song, some group somewhere and most likely Celtic fans will lobby and complain until it too gets rolled up in Jackboot Salmond's Offensive Behaviour Bill. I vehemently oppose the Loyalist and Monarchist stuff from our our support but I would defend their right to express themselves (albeit poorly) with my dying breath.
  19. I hope David Murray takes the responsibility of abandoning Rangers to the spivs to his grave.
  20. Darko Pancev playing?
  21. Gaizka Mendieta gave us a masterclass in possession, passing and skill that would make the rest of Iniesta's hair fall out that night. Can't think of a better side at Ibrox to be honest...Juventus gave us a chasing one night as well but no one player ran the show as much as the wee Spaniard in '99.
  22. The mentality I described has been repeated ad nauseum throughout history where one group perceives themselves to be persecuted or discriminated against. The first generation to have all of the opportunities open to them use that freedomt to right the perceived wrongs. It's human nature.
