  1. That's what I was thinking. Auchenhowie is non starter for property development as far a I was aware and there will many problems attached to rejigging a building with a listed facade like Ibrox. I don't get it. Renting out seems the best plan for them??
  2. Is that true? FFS. This is getting hard to stomach on a daily basis.
  3. Even Columbo couldn't feeking work this one out. More twists than Lombard Street (Google it...)
  4. I thought that was if they won the FTT?
  5. Everyday a new skeleton emerges from the cupboard... What a fleckin mess.
  6. "According to proposals sent out to creditors owed £124m by the club, the new business entity that would hold the assets of the club was Sevco 5088 Limited, established by London law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse, which is advising Mr Green’s consortium on the takeover." Has it been officially clarified that our debt was £124 million?
  7. If it is uncovered that Whyte is involved with Greens Consortium then I genuinely fear for us. This when you think things couldn't get any worse.....
  8. Agreed GA. Get the feeking cards on the table FFS
  9. Brown was just on H and J's show on Talk Sport. Offered very little TBH. Concentrated on seeing the title deeds for Ibrox etc.
  10. Here is the thread. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=224218 To be fair most peeps are telling him to GTF and it appears to be Timposter? But why is it still up there on the forum FFS
  11. BACK in?.... Where they ever IN? As much as I like big Bomber, he states that he has some big hitters and then says he wants the fans to buy the club? On a pedantic note, of all the players to front this could we not have one that is more media savvy than Brown? He just sounds like fan wearing his heart on his sleeve IMO.
  12. I am well aware that online forums are always going to be open to a variety of views but I just seen a post on RM highlighting (and somewhat endorsing) Nick Griffin and his view on the current mess we are in. I would rather not have a football club at all than have our club or supporters that have the slightest link with with this vile little man Absolutely sick TBH
  13. Keith Jackson! Cheers JC. I agree. He spoke very well
  14. I have noticed over the last few days (and weeks for that matter) there has been a lot misleading stuff in the media that is continually going unchallenged and is only muddying the waters IMO. I listened to two debates yesterday on the Rangers situation and one both accasions the presentators listened to views from opposing SPL fans concerning our punishment. Almost everyone of the views stated that we should be punished for what we've done over the last 15 years? Have I missed something? Have we been found guilty of anything other what that little snake Whyte was up to over the last year? The fact that these views were almost stated as fact was stagerring but the fact these falsehoods were not challenged by the actual journalists was even more bewildering. No wonder we're fooked The only voice that I've heard make any sense yersterday was Daryl King (I think it was him...?). He was on Talk Sport outlining much of the above and went to say that rival fans are so keen to see Rangers punished that they are tripping over themselves and being very selective with the facts when assessing their opinions. He also went to say that Rangers (the club)and their fans could actually be seen the victims in all this as Whyte was just a wreckless individual. Been a while since I've heard a Scottish journalist stick up for us TBH. Anyone else hear it?
  15. Can I ask a simple question? Does it matter if we go into admin again? What will happen? Will we be fined? Will we have points docked? As we are currently not a member of any league or registered with the SFA I fail to see what could happen? On the flip side...is this not what McColl and Co have been waiting for? I have it on good authority that the McColl thing is not finished at all
  16. I would love to hear the Aberdeen fans view on this so called Sporting Integrity considering they escaped relegation twice by the aid of fabricated play-off and technicality regarding another clubs ground (that seemed ok the year after....) I also fully expect all fans of sporting integrity to bomard their club when one of their players dives to win a penalty. (I am still waiting for the Celtic fans take on Ki's ridiculous dive in the Cup semi by the way....)
  17. Good points guys and something that I didn't really consider.
  18. Good idea mate. There are plenty of options available tbh. If we maintain a sensible wage structure and buying policy we can easily run our club at a great profit year in, year out
  19. Juventus maintained their deal with Nike as far as I am aware? Regardless of what's gone on, companies would be daft if they don't think we are not still a lucrative option. When Nike worked with Rangers, the Gers top was in there top 5 sellers worldwide. Who wouldn't they want a piece of that? Rangers are THE story and always will be and that's what potential investors will be interested in. Let's face it, if we are in Division 3 next year do you think Celtic will be headline news? Whilst we are away on our exile I bet my house that the majotrity of newspapers will be doing Rangers first game outwith the SPL as their main story rather than Celtic raising their empty wee flag
  20. Maybe but it is a great branding exercise IMO. People arrive/depart and see the store and take something away/bring something home with them. It also spreads the brand beyond the parameters of Ibrox stadium
  21. We need to reclaim this city back IMO. I hate the fact that you arrive at Glasgow Airport and immediately see a Celtic megastore. Makes me feekin sick TBH
  22. Is it not up to the provider/supllier whether the contract is honoured? They signed a deal with a "company" that technically doesn't exist anymore?
  23. Sorry if this has been done before but.... If the company that ran Rangers previously is dissolved/liquidated/whatever, what happens to existing contracts regarding Umbro and Tennants? Are they null and void as they were agreed with the old co.? It would be good if we could get a new kit deal that is more lucrative? Maybe a Nike or Addidas deal? At first I thought Nike would be a no-no as they don't generally work with 2 major teams from one city but now that Man City have signed a new deal with them (worth £12 million a year apparently) then that theory is out the window. Surely we sell more shirts than Man City? Cheers in advance Max Rebo
  24. Probably got much to do with the SFA/SPL making this up as they go along?
