  1. Ally you'll always be a Rangers legend and you stood firm in our darkest hour. For that I will be forever grateful. However, I've given you the benefit of the doubt as a manger for 3 years and I'm now convinced that you're part of the problem rather than the solution.
  2. The comment about "his past could come back to haunt him" is interesting isn't it? Anyone know what SOS are alluding to? Sounds like they've found a skeleton in the Green cupboard.
  3. If it's not too late, can I join as well? I've already got my excuses in first by giving everyone else a 1 game head start though!
  4. His bus magnate puppet is obviously not able to control things to his liking. However, I suspect the real agenda, as Gunslinger said, is that he's getting increasingly desperate in his attempts to force King's hand into buying out his pals' penny shares at a >2500% profit.
  5. I don't think anyone seriously believes he is. Soros made £10bn from currency manipulation when he forced the UK out of the Exchange Rate Mechanism (causing an economic crisis in the process). The idea that he'd be interested in pissing around with Scottish football to maybe, just maybe, make a few million in a couple of years time is ludicrous. However, in the unlikely event that he does have Soros' ear, I'm pretty certain that Green's love of money would trump any other considerations.
  6. I can understand your view, but plenty of teams "park the bus" already in both league and cup games. I don't think this would make that situation worse. What I like about the idea of removing players until you get a result, is that it would become increasingly difficult to maintain a purely defensive formation as more space appears. At some point you'd really have to attack, otherwise the more skilful opposition would inevitably score. Certainly would be better than the extra time bore-fests you often see in matches which are eventually settled by penalties. It'll never happen though.
  7. Hope he has a little more va va voom this season after all that time in Paris.
  8. ...and cricket of course. Play for five days and still end up with a draw. Rules invented by the guy running the bar I think.
  9. I'd get rid of draws. If it's all square after 90mins, remove a player from each side every 2 minutes until one side scores to win the game.
  10. You obviously don't listen to Peter Wright (ex Scotland front row and commentator on Radio Scotland). The scrummage is a random penalty generator and some of the rules are so difficult to apply consistently that even the better refs struggle. The big difference is that the players respect the referee's decision and if they don't they find themselves 10m closer to their own line. I do like the TMO (video ref) though. I also like the player's line call challenges in tennis. Give a manager 1 chance to request a video review of a decision per game. If they're right, then the decision is overturned and they keep their challenge.
  11. In other words (ii) relates to the players and not the Murray family.
  12. No, it's saying that he agreed with the FFT's decision to reject HMRC's view re termination payments etc. It's that element they are trying to appeal again. No surprise to me at all. HMRC have already sunk so much time and effort into this, that even a remote chance of winning another appeal will seem worth the (relatively) small additional outlay.
  13. I don't know precisely what he was shown, but I know he worked in an entirely different area of the bank from the one which managed the RFC connection. He had neither the authority nor the influence to pursue any anti Rangers agenda even if he had one (which I severely doubt). In short, someone has seen the guy's job title and linked that to his previous involvement with Celtic and put two and two together to make five.
  14. Glad to have you back on board SC. You are 100% correct about MF, as for once, was Merlin.
  15. The pitch looked fine to me at the end of the rugby. We'll need to look elsewhere for excuses if we don't turn up against Hibs on Tuesday.
  16. Positive that a global brand wants to be associated with us, but in pure financial terms, this will be small beer......
  17. But that was at your work, whereas the HMRC employee expressed his views outside of his workplace. I'm not defending the guy, just saying that VB are massively overstating the significance of this individual and his actions.
  18. CK's response to Q8 stretches credulity to breaking point given his complete lack of any emotional connection to the Club.
  19. Hardly a smoking gun is it? Not one shred of evidence that he's had access to, far less released, any BTC productions. Not a cat in hells chance that Focus would be interested in pursuing that type of mild online bigotry and even less that HMRC would do anything more than tell him to stop being a silly Bhoy if they were aware of it.
