  1. Excellent letter. Well done for pursuing the issue.
  2. The GreenCo investors expect a return on their investment. In the absence of a bid premium, or any prospect of a dividend, the sale and leaseback of MP is the obvious way for them to achieve it. If it does happen as predicted, it won't be because of ST sales and the buyer will be connected to GreenCo in some way.
  3. I certainly prefer Tapatalk when accessing Gersnet via my phone (which is most of the time). The one drawback I've found is that I can't seem to see / respond to forum polls. If anyone else can, please let me know how.
  4. I've never been able to vote when using Tapatalk on my phone, but I'll use my desktop and vote now.
  5. I'm relatively happy with the business we've done this window, however: One of Simonsen / Gallacher wasn't required. Plus one of Peralta / Hutton. Plus either Shiels or Crawford. And probably both Jig and Daly. That's 5 wages - probably circa £1m p.a. less the cost of termination for those still in contract - we could have saved, or invested in a creative central midfielder.
  6. Smith couldn't even get her intro right and claimed that we'd been stripped of titles. An absolute joke of a show.
  7. Given some of the Club statements we've endured recently, this one is pretty measured and appropriate. By all means be cynical about whether some or all of the directors / owners actually give two hoots about what we've gone through, but the statement itself is ok. As for the shadow image of the gates, well I can see what Zappa is getting at, but to be honest, I wouldn't have picked up on any negative connotations myself and can't get too worked up about it.
  8. Back on topic, I think sales of the 3rd strip and the Buy Rangers red and black number will benefit if those designs are anywhere close to the finished article.
  9. No matter how bad things get on or off the park, my team will never be a shite Club. That's like saying you've got shite kids.
  10. Agree. we can pursue, demand, petition, or just howl at the moon at the injustice of it all, but the real lesson is that WATP we are waiting for.
  11. The @taxcaseresult account on Twitter is now saying that the result is coming and that he'd been led to believe that we'd won, but that he now has doubts. "Might be a small chance that I was wrong about the result". Keeping his options open on a binary result doesn't instil confidence in his sources.
  12. Cowie scored the winning goal in a 3:2 Caley win over Celtic in the SPL, so that's a plus! While he's not prolific, he usually gets 4-5 goals a season. Would be a significant step up from Law / Black / Hutton IMHO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Sorry BH, I'd missed this until now as I don't visit the lounge. I've voted for the Hibs game, but will try to make whichever date wins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ok, I hadn't picked up on any particular sensitivity regarding that term until now, but I'll avoid it in future. Maybe I've just been exposed to some choice characters on Twitter recently, but I'm very aware of the negative impression that some supporters still create. Let's try "unreconstructed" as an alternative description. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. He's highlighting unconscious bias in society and specifically among football supporters. Not the same thing at all. He doesn't even really judge Cosgrove, which I think most of us would forgive him for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Andy is a top man, a stalwart of Gersnet and a refreshing antidote to some of the knuckle draggers among our support. Being slower to judge others is a quality more people should work on... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I don't think the millionaire fans became millionaires by committing £50m for a minority shareholding. Also, the whole start again, again idea isn't a goer for anyone bar the most gung-ho or desperate among the support. I've said this before and make no apologies for saying again - there are very few certainties during an insolvency event. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
