  1. He is a bit like Albertz in the way they were foreigners brought to Ibrox and they know what it means to wear the jersey. Top player, Top bloke
  2. Well he got PSG knocked out the Eufa cup tonight at the same stage as us so no i dont think he would have made a difference. He came up against a good side in Benfica and wasnt up to the test. We didnt really have any top drawer opponents earlier in the competition. Livorno didnt play all that great against us but still a good result and Auxerre away we done alright. Apart from that, not a lot of quality in our european opposition. Also he has PSG second bottom of the French league with something like 1 win in 9 league games for them. The best thing i can say about PLG is that he is consistent
  3. benfica just put PSG out as well which means my midweek coupon came up and ive just won 50 bucks. I like Le Guen tonight
  4. He looks like a school teacher and will do nothing with Newcastle
  5. It was a fantastic save from Given, some carry-on at the end as well. Seems as if there has been a lot of brawls in football recently
  6. oh how i miss shota. Az have looked good value for the win
  7. It was the wee brother of a guy i goto uni with that threw the lighter at Ricksen, met him a few times, he is a wee ned.
  8. Same as Cammy's team but i reckons its the team id go for as well. I dont think Boyd is the answer in Europe.
  9. He was quite good but id never have thought he wouldve made it at a club like Rangers. Anyways all the best to him
  10. I used to play in the same team as Broadfoot when i was younger

Cant understand why Sebo is being overlooked here??
  12. What we need and what we get are unfortunately not the same these days. I cant see us bringing anyone who is gonna be good enough to justify benching Kris. He is one of the laziest players ive ever seen in a Rangers jersey but the likes of Sebo and McDonald arent gonna take his place
  13. Whats happened at Hearts and Chelsea kind of puts me off the idea of a Russian Billionaire taking over. Its frightening to think where Hearts could be in 5-10 years, would anyone be surprised if Mad Vlad ruined them?? When he leaves they will have crippling debts and i doubt they will recover. Im not SDM's biggest fan but id prefer he stayed until a proper Rangers man came in and took control rather than have a few years success then left with massive debts again. Personally i hope nothing comes of this
  14. David James is Englands best goal-keeper IMO. I think on his day, he can be as good as any of the keepers mentioned but he sometimes struggles under pressure. Also did himself no favours for admitting he never done a warm up in the England game versus Denmark where he had a nightmare.
  15. Dont worry about it, if everyone was to appologise for having a dig at eck then every other post would have sorry harley in it:admin: Its quite a good run we are on just now in europe and i think this is the first time this season our domestic form has matched the european run so im quite optimistic about tomorrow. I'll go for 2-1 Rangers
  16. I agree fully mate, I'd still like to see someone else brought in at RB but only to keep competition for places higher. Good luck to him tonight:thup:
  17. I hate diving but when i had ten bucks on him to get the first goals at 9-1 then i dont really mind:thup:
  18. Im getting more and more annoyed at the constant Eck bashing. Not even played a game and its already started. He is only getting the players together to discuss where they go after Walter, i wouldnt read much into his squads just now
  19. Anyone think that Sproule would be a good option for us. He's still a very raw looking player but his pace could be handy coming off the bench. Think he's scored 9 goals for Hibs this season from an advanced midfield position which isnt a bad return for an attacking midfielder
  20. Looks like i ruined the bet u were gonna put on mate sorry
  21. Eck realised that he got the job because of the situation the club were in, he wasnt out of his depth, he was the right solution to the problem at hand. Nor did he pinch himself and he definately never thought of himself as a fake. That is quite a rediculous statement. He left after four and a half years because it was the right time to go but i can assure you he never felt uncomfortable in the job, only pride
