Your statement that the pitch was not an excuse.I’d disagree with that for the reason I stated. -

I’d disagree. All teams seem to have players who can adapt to plastic pitches and players who don’t seem to be able to. Yesterday, for example, I thought Lafferty struggled & eventually came off. I also thought it was a mistake yesterday not having RyanKent on from the start. He’s got his confidence back & is starting to look the player he was at the beginning of last season. That can only be good news for us -

These pitches have no place in the top division of Scottish football -

Just back in from game.First away game I’ve been to in a long time. Disappointed at result but I genuinely believe these plastic pitches make the game a lottery. Just ur luck the way the ball bounces whether for or against you. -
Ross County were 5-1 up with more than 30minutes left ????

Good to see him doing well but hopefully we’ll loan him out to a better league next time around. That would give a better indicator of his progress

Just so pleased with that result. So many expected us to lose by 2 or 3 against a top side in La liga. Well done. -
I’d suggest contacting the SFA (or SPL) about not helping Rangers wasn’t all Reid got up to concerning Rangers during his time as yahoos Chairman. And not the worst by any means
-
Is anyone surprised at this ? All Liewell was doing was trying to get his team an advantage to win the league. I’d expect our CEO or MD to do the same if it were the yahoos in the UEFA cup final.

There’s no doubt our summer recruitment has been significantly better than 2016 & 17. It has been shown in our performances so far, particularly in Europe. We now have players we’ve bought whom we will undoubtedly get offers for in the near future & could sell on for profit.Sadly for as long as we remain in Scottish football that is what we have to live with because there’s no money in it. But we need to realise it is how we replace these players that will determine how we progress in the seasons ahead. Have we identified a replacement for Morelos? Katic? Barasic? Goldson? The league is there for the taking this season. The Timz are in disarray. They’ve just sold their best player because they didn’t make theCL. But we must endure our own house is in order first of all, And that means continuing with the DoF & SG which gives me the most confidence I’ve had in a long time

Interesting theory but I tend to think the opposite will happen i.e. the yahoos will move into Hampden. When the bunnet took them over 25 years ago he built them a stadium on the cheap which was never going to last long term. It’s lifespan would be around 25 years which is now up. The Rangers board should now be asking the SFA who is paying the £19m liabilities due once they acquire Hampden.
-
The SFA don’t have the money to do that. Firstly where are they going to get the £19m which is going to be the total cost of this purchase from QP? Or is Willie Haughey now going to own both the San Giro & Hampden ?
-
Am I alone in thinking it unwise Doncaster now being on the SFA PGB? Doncaster is the CEO of the SPFL which is the company who run the Scottish professional leagues(or try to). As such should he not be directly accountable to the SFA who are the governing body of Scottish football? Certainly not part of the SFA where his judgements could easily be influenced by his SPFL role.
-
Moving from Hampden to Murrayfield would effectively be moving from a 50k stadium to a 67k stadium. For what reason though? Most of the time the only time Hampden sells out is OF semis & finals. Now we’ve got Willie Haughey trying to put money into keeping Hampden. something isn’t right about all this....

Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe this result.

This is not good news. Genuinely hope we’ve not signed another Rossiter -
The Summer 2018 Transfer Window Rumours and Deals
RANGERRAB replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
There’s no doubt we now have younger players such as Morelos, Katic etc who will move on & bring us in decent transfer fees (hopefully) to allow us to then replace them & the process starts again. Whilst we remain in Scottish football the lack of money, sponsorship etc leaves us no option to operate this way. We don’t get the likes of £100m plus per season from TV deals -
Let me guess, maybe a club in Glasgow with a dodgy stadium might move into Hampden. How’s the hotel & museum coming along? Anyone know?

Sacking a manger after just 4 league games is plain daft.

£105 for the EL is a bit much tbh. For CL yes but not the EL. Just hope we don’t up up with lots of empty seats.
