Pena won’t return. He’ll get sacked for breach of contract when he doesn’t show up.

Unbelievable OP. Eight of the starting eleven tonight signed at the start of the season. Last season we were getting embarrassed by Progress Niedercorn. This season we reached theEL group stages We can’t expect too much too soon. Wenow have a team upon we can start to build & make further progress. Let’s just enjoy being back in Europe after a long period of absence

Celtic Boys Club manager 'stuffed banknotes in boy's mouth'
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
If the SFA wish to have any credibility they must investigate the club in question to determine whether or not they may have at the very least brought the game into disrepute. I’d suggest however it is much more serious than that. They must start by asking why Torbett was re-employed twice (yes twice) by them after being initially caught. And during the 70’s and 80’s Celtic BC produced many players who went on to the first team winning many honours. Would that have happened had Torbett & other been known about at the time ? I suspect not -
Other than Greg Docherty I’m not sure any of the loanees are benefitting much. I’m not convinced the younger players will learn much at clubs at the bottom of the Scottish Championship. If they don’t achieve anything there what’s next for them? And it seems some of these loans are also an attempt to get rid off players we no longer want but the clubs they’re at wouldnt be willing to meet the wages we’re paying them let alone a transfer fee.

The yahoos accounts showed a wage bill of £60m & operating costs of £87m. Totally unsustainable without CL income I’d suggest. Maybe that’s why they sold their best player before the transfer window closed

Gerrard brands Daniel Candeias' red card an 'embarrassment'

Arfield’s booking in the first half was almost as bad as the red card -

James Dornan: Clubs must face sanctions for crowd disorder...
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
How many times has Dornan’s team been fined by UEFA these past few seasons ? People in glass houses shouldn’t throw..... -
That’s now 5 semis in a row these past 2 years we’ve lost at Hampden (3 LC & 2 SC) since the 2016 SCfinal and not even scored a single goal in any of them. Very poor show whatever way you look at it.

Looking back on yesterday’s game I believe it was another example of where we should be playing 2 up front in domestic games where we’re dominating possession & the other team parks the bus. I’d have played 3-5-2 with either Grezda or Arfield alongside Sadiq up front. Dont get me wrong I wouldn’t play 3-5-2 in Europe or against Celtic but I think there are definitely games think it would suit like yesterday. -

The Sadiq gamble didn’t work today. He looked well short of match fitness & sharpness. I thought beforehand this game was going to be difficult without our first & second choice strikers and so it proved. However I still believe we’re heading in the right direction (at long last) and must expect the odd setback like today. -
I’d think BK’s role will be to monitor the young players Rangers send out on loan to other clubs

Doran’s is a classic example of why we shouldn’t be signing players in their heir 30’s

I wonder how many of us could have predicted at the start of the season we’d be joint top of a EL group after 3 games ?? Not many I ‘d suggest. And I think there are those in our support who forget how far we’ve come in such a short space of time. Leaving the stadium at full time last night I couldn’t help notice a fair bit of dissatisfaction around me at not being able to get the victory we probably deserved against a side who were there for the taking. We must be more patient & realise that the road back to the top will have many ups & downs along the way. Like last night was. -
The BBC is funded by the licence fee payers i.e. you and I. And a result It is supposed to be an impartial broadcaster without allegiances. However what we can see from the pondlife at BBC PQ is an organisation which works to various agendas. One of those agendas is blatantly anti-Rangers bias. Everyone can see this. What I object to is having to pay a licence fee to fund theBBC. If they want these agendas then, fine, but get funding from the real commercial world like other broadcasters have to do. Then see how they get on with much reduced income because viewing(& listening) audiences no longer want to watch/listen to their purile anti-Rangers broadcasts

Can’t seeSG being too impressed with this

Good luck to Kris Boyd. True Rangers man & always will be.

Would have thought Ashley had much bigger things to worry about just now. Another Newcastle relegation being biggest. -

????? How long before the mock outrage from Spiers & co ? -
These are the type of players we should be signing: young players here to develop & sell on then replace. Like Ajax do. Unfortunately whilst we are in the impoverished Scottish football we cannot do anything else

He isn’t banned. He got his press priveleges pass withdrawn by Rangers because of his biased reporting. He can still get into Ibrox to cover games but chooses not to do so. As a result BBCPQ decided they wouldn’t send anyone to cover Rangers home games.
