Chris Sutton - Rangers looked to be closing the gap on Celtic but...
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
What does Mutton base his adulation on at this stage of the season? They were extremely fortunate to get thro against Fc Astanas for starters. They were also extremely fortunate to beat hertz too who missed clearcut chances. Sure they took 5 off McGhee's Motherwell but if you watch the highlights Motherwell miss 3 really easy chances However he is correct about Miller though..":D -

I can't believe the lego-muncher hasn't beencalled up before the SFA for calling a fellow professional a cheat. -
I also think this case is likely to drag on for some time especially if there are appeals. That will certainly add to costs too.

Genuinely hope the board know what they're doing here. This will cost a fortune in legal fees if we lose this.

Still await SFA action on Brown calling Walker a cheat. Surprised Ann Budge hasn't waded into this yet. Latest yahoo Compliance Officer McGlennan is just the same as Lunny by the looks of things -
[FT] Dundee 1 - 2 Rangers (Forrester 14; Miller 39)

Hope you're wrong. Miller should be nowhere near starting XI -
Difficult to assess anyone against Peterhead I'd have thought. Need better opposition

Looks to me we're waiting til the EPL clubs finalise their 25 man squads & we'll try & get a striker & a defender on loan -

Let's hope the yahoos go ahead with this.........and UEFA throw them out ! -
At the end of last season our top two priority signings should have been a CB and a striker to play the system we play which is one up front thro the middle So far we haven't sign either as far as I'm concerned What we have signed though is rather a lot of MF players.
-
We played with one up front on saturday and for Miller to have played an hour without a shot at goal is totally unacceptable

Dave King: Rangers will hold money in reserve until January
RANGERRAB replied to JFK-1's topic in Rangers Chat
We have to hope these players are successful with us and we can sell them back to England or elsewhere at profit to us. They get replaced and so the process begins again..... There is no money in Scottish football. We have to accept that. The yahoos are doing exactly the same as we are and have been doing this over the past few years. The downside is your team can get weakened to such an extent you get beaten home & away in the EL by a team 4th in the Norwegian league -
Dave King: Rangers will hold money in reserve until January
RANGERRAB replied to JFK-1's topic in Rangers Chat
Why would we want to keep money in reserve til january? We need a CB & a striker who can play in our system now not in January. I always think that january is the lesser of the two transfer windows where teams generally one make one or two signings -

The team that started cost £600k ? LW cost about three times that amount IIRC -

My one criticism though is he tends to be over-loyal to experienced players. Why did Kenny Miller start today ? He did hee-haw in the LC games. And FWIW I think he'll need to decide before long his best starting XI and i think that will need to include a MF which includes Barton, Rossiter, Forrester & Windass. All of them. That means no Halliday,Holt or Krankjcar who isn't match fit IMO -

A CB & a striker who can play in our system which is one up front thro the middle. Miller can't play this role as he's notsuitable for it -
I think Halliday will struggle to get into the starting XI. Barton, Forrester, Rositter & Windass will all be ahead of him IMO. And if Krankjcar gets match fit that another problem for him to contend with
-
You're being very generous giving Miller a 3. Zero would be a better reflection on that dismal performance today. His time is up Mr Warburton.

And Clint Hill injured? -
The oldco administration & subsequent liquidation process ( which is still ongoing and will be for years) was caused by Craig Whyte. No one else. People of lower intelligence seem unable to comprehend this for one reason or another. In the case of Andrew Smith ( or is it Andrew H Smith ? ) being a former editor of that infamous yahoo publication Ra Shellik View probably explains his inability to understand the facts which have nothing to do Ronald de Boer, EBT's or whatever else he mentions
