  1. Increasing ST prices needs a vast improvement from the dross on the park we watched yesterday.
  2. As they formed two new companies in the process.......you wont hear much said about that will you that they're effectively three companies
  3. If there is to be a second share issue won't current shareholders need to get first refusal?
  4. Wonder how the '120 day business review' is progressing as we approach day40 next tuesday? So far we've had:- 1) cut first team salaries by 15 percent(rejected) 2) increase ST prices next season(somer's idea?) 3) half McCoist's exorbitant salary 4) get Stockbridge to return his ridiculous £200k bonus i would suspect 3) and 4) were muted before GW's arrival anyway. So where are we then ? At the end of this where can cuts seriously take place other than the £10m non playing staff wage bill ? If that fails then what? Will GW quit then we go and ask DK for finance in the form of some sort of loan? That would have obvious pre conditions I'd suspect such as boardroom appointments/removals. Would involving DK not have been the most logical solution from the outset?
  5. Wonder how the SPFL enquiry into that game is progressing? Or has Liewell told Dumbcaster to sweep it under the carpet with everything else ? Corrupt? You couldn't make it up could you?
  6. Our problem was Craig Whyte and how he got Rangers.Until the full story is known (and it will come out in due course) then we'll just have to suffer and watch things like this. Hertz will get relegated and I'm not so sure they'll find it quite so easy to return to the top division as they think. One wonders if their new owners have the money to finance an extended stay outwith the top division
  7. Which is why Charles Green wanted Rangers out of Scottish Football. Perfectly correct IMO
  8. Wallace talks about cuts on one hand then adding to the squad and improving the scouting system too. You cant do both of these and reduce costs at the same time. Ive yet to be convinced by him and I think the wagecuts offered to the first team squad was a bad starting point to reduce costs because these costs are not high for a club Rangers size.
  9. Rangers supporters will not watch a sub-standard side.We saw that in the early 1980's
  10. We will need to add a better standard of player to the first team squad. That will cost money. People will not continue to pay to watch some of the dross we've seen this season and last season.I would however agree a better manager might get more out of our contact squad
  11. Do you not think the law is completely wrong when it hands out more severe sentences for offensive language and songs than physical violence ? Ever since McConnell began his attacks on Rangers supporters via his sectarian legislation(which was carried on by the SNP and largely ignores other clubs supporters actions i.e. The GB) we now have a situation where violence is deemed less serious judging by these sentences. A totally ridiculous state of affairs do you not agree?
  12. And how to improve the quality of the product from what we've been watching this season and last season?
  13. The challenge facing Graham Wallace is how to reduce costs but at the same time improve the quality of the product on the pitch from what we saw last night and too often this season and last season. That will not be easy without some form of significant investment. The question is whether this board can get that investment and from whom.
  14. But Ally likes a back four and a holding MF player(black) in the third tier of Scottish football.......
  15. I'd agree with you but probably for different reasons. I'm none too convinced about Cammy Bell.He doesn't seem too clever coming off his line. I think that's why McCoist signed Simonsen
  16. Wallace & the chairman have a big decision to take at the end of this season regards the manager.
  17. I can't help wondering why Graham Wallace saw the need to try cutting first team player salaries as one of the first parts of his cost cutting measures instead of this £10m non-playing staff wages which I'd have thought would have been no1 priority
  18. Let's face it this law was targeted at us Rangers supporters first and foremost. You only need to see how much the GB get away with to realise that.
  19. Just unfortunately not so in our own country where our only use is to subsidise all other clubs via TV deals and the like.
  20. Well we have got 55 players on the books(was56 butAndy Mitchell has left) and that makes 5 teams so do we not need 5 goalkeepers !!!!! Seriously how over-staffed are we? Why do we need so many players ? All we are at the end of the day is a first XI.
  21. We certainly spend bucket loads of money on it at MP. Whether that is money well spent or not is something Graham Wallace will no doubt be looking at as part of his 120 day business review.
