Watch OldCo 'big tax case' live today and tomorrow
Scott7 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
If I were President of the Supreme Court I'd say I was persuaded by the reasoning and eloquence of Revenue Counsel and not convinced by the Appellants' Counsel. On the other hand, this is the Rangers and WATP, so the Appeal is upheld and mon the 'Gers. That's one of many, many reasons why I'm not President of the SC. Seriously, this stuff is 'way over my head but the revenue guy was helluva good. The body language of the judges, especially Hodge looked ominous. -

It means she will follow the majority opinion. If it's divided two for and two against God knows what she'll do. Actually, what she'll do is work it out for herself. A woman of formidable intellectual capacity. -

I'm not liking this. Lord Hodge is against us. -
Stewart has done his job. Between the sticks is the only non disaster area of the park. Foderingham hasn't matched the prowess of his illustrious predecessors but he's not too bad. Bell was the only failure.

Leicester have performed magnificently in the CL, considerably better than some much-vaunted sides bombed out early in the proceedings. Juventus will be the end of the road for them. Forza Bianconeri.

Video: Rangers fan violently attacked on Anniesland train on Old Firm Day

[The victim*keeps asking them: "Are you British or Irish?" The woman retorts: "You’re asking us why we are in the country because we are Celtic fans?" The woman replies: "We're both*Scottish so pipe down." ] Assault is not justified but assuming that narrative is correct, if the victim were my son and he came home greeting I'd have told him he was asking for it. -
Tale of two Cities - both go through with Juve and Athetico.
-
Both at Wembley, presumably. I liked the old days when the semis were at neutral league grounds, Villa Park, St James, Old Trafford or, dare I say it, Hillsbrough.

Aw, gie the boy a chance. Just because you're sixty years older than yourself doesn't mean you're any wiser.

Well done to the big guy who put a stop to it. -
A tackle is not a sequence of freeze frames. The referee has to look at it as a whole. Getting a millimetre of a boot on the ball whilst in the next quarter second clattering the opponent doesn't mean it's not a foul.

I doubt that Barry or Bomber would have the brains for the job. It's more than just firing them up telling them to get wired into they (epithet of choice - Sheep, Greenians or whatever) McCann is a much better option though, as Frankie says, the transition from punditry to coaching isn't always easy. John Greig was the best analyst in football broadcasting but not quite so good as a manager.

United are not the second best team in the league but strangely, I think they're more likely than any other side to draw with or even beat Chelsea at the Bridge. Having said that, the semis will be London v City.

The selection pool is immense. Spoiled for choice really. Can't argue much with that selection. Lack of pace at the back?

No, you're wrong there. It's "Ca shino". Guadalajara Loyal.

Nothing to defend. -
You're in the prime of life, Coop.

Eck inherited some decent players. Walter had some damage control to do when he came back.

Bournemouth 0, West Ham 2. Everton 3, WBA 1. Hull 2, Swansea 0. Liverpool 4, Burnley 1. Baggies' bubble has burst, unfortunately. Pulis has taken the Albion as high as he can. Time for a little known foreigner at the Hawthorns. I jest. He should get the freedom of the City. He's got them boinging well above their weight.

On that record alone I don't think he'll succeed.

Rangers are worse now than Celtic were in early 90s: Ally McCoist
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
At this moment we are not worse than celtic were on the day before Fergus McCann pulled them back from the edge of the abyss. We probably were as bad as them on the day before King's men got rid of the svips. -
City stumble again. If they can't beat Stoke at home they might not make the top four.

Ally McCoist: Don't blame me for failure of Resolution 11

Out of the country? Did he not know he was going? Was he scooped up by aliens and deposited in Patagonia? Or did the mystery lawyer make sure he didn't? They have their ways, I believe. -
