What we must understand of course is that the Premier League is the only thing that matters. Any tournament that Chelsea get beaten in is of no importance. I believe SBS to be indisposed this morning so I've taken it upon myself to post this on his behalf.

This is the most depressing thread. -
Read dB again.

During niar Rangers spent umpteen times more than Aberdeen or Motherwell but for a couple of seasons each gave us a run for our money.

Scotland and Hearts football legend Dave Mackay dies aged 80
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
On helluva good player. Hard as nails, never dirty. Ian Black and Scott Brown? Don't make me laugh. Plus McKay could actually play football. He'd be priceless nowadays. -
Three Bears call for Barry Leach to be sacked immediately

The "happy time" years of ITs are long gone unless it's a question of discrimination. If a new board goes through the correct procedures they've probably got him bang to rights. What worries me is a clause in his contract that gives him a bag of gold on termination for whatever reason. -
The Seville avenger must have been Harry Davis, surely. Pretty decent right-half but world class enforcer.

The Scotsman 22nd Feb 1932 - Rangers Match Report
Scott7 replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
It was indeed the Claret and Amber thus interrupting what would have been nine in a row. Rangers were Champions in fifteen of the twenty seasons from 1919/20 to 1938/39. -

"Generation" is optimistic. I reckon a couple of years. -
Could we get Chelsea to offer S-Bridge as a venue for the EGM?
Scott7 replied to JTP's topic in Rangers Chat
Emirates has more class. Wouldn't do for the Board I suppose. -

Ross County chief: chaos at Ibrox has caused sponsor delays...
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
RC were a promoted club at the time of the "get the Rangers" shenannigans so they would have had a vote. In fairness they may have been reluctant nay-sayers but nay they did say. -
Ross County chief: chaos at Ibrox has caused sponsor delays...
Scott7 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Ross County are a village team. As such they have done very well but they remain a village team. Bad luck that they get into SPL when Rangers got turfed out but they could have voted to keep us in so devil take them. And they've got previous for running with the jackals against a lion. Actually, it wasn't bad luck for the club but it was very bad luck for the large number of Rangers supporters who inhabit Ross-shire. -
If I hadn't written better than the DR when I was in P7 I'd have been in big trouble.

And it was the end of the line for Willie Telfer who had done a great job in securing the defence after a League Cup Final defeat.

We have a lot of possession because we don't try to do anything with the ball except go sideways and backwards. If the opposition feel up to it and come to get the ball the possession stats plummet.

I don't suppose they'll run a 'bus from Greenock. If you were a shareholder unable to attend, which director would you trust with your proxy?

The current tie could be anything. The previous was distinctive. I never bought the new one even when all seemed to be well.

I'm not in favour of disrupting play. That has an adverse effect on the opposition club and to a lesser extent on the league we are playing in. I know people will say they were all against us but we've chosen to play with them and (ahem) sporting integrity and all that.

"The Facility is to be secured by (1) a floating charge over the Club's assets and (2) fixed charges over Murray Park, Edmiston House, Albion Car Park, and the Club's registered trademarks." I read that as the fc covering the whole of the "club's" assets but without specific security over Ibrox. That leaves Ibrox subject to the fc but open to competition from other creditors especially if they can get in with a security when the current Ashley option expires in ? days.
