From what i seen they defended well and should have been 2 up, if only Heskey could have finished the one that hit the post, Heskey also had another 2 really good chances not to mention the penalty that they should have got before the equaliser. I can see what you are saying, and yes he does have to improve but i sometimes wonder why he gets so much stick when Adam on the other side is a lot worse and seems to escape criticism from a lot of Bears. Burkes has shown in the past that he is capable of being a key player for us, it has been a long time since he has had a run of games and i reckon his final ball will come with match practice, thats why he would start ahead of Sionko for me.

Sorry mate, cant agree with that, i thought he looked dangerous, not his best game by a long way but at one point he ran past about 4 Killie players on a charge into the box, its this kind of directness that he can give us. I also thought he worked well with Hutton on the right and it was Burkes movement that created the space for Hutton to cross for the second goal.

While Gersnet was down and i needed my fix, i signed up for Follow Follow. Was really shocked at the amount of criticism wee Burkey was getting on there, it seems that most posters on FF think he is a waste of space and shouldnt have been offered a new deal. Thought i would get some opinions on here, personally im glad he got a new deal and think he is one of our more dangerous players and one of our only players that is direct.

I think it might have been as much Rangers decision to make the deal a 2 year one, given Burkes history with injuries.

I learned a long time ago not to judge a player before seeing him play for us, i was really impressed with Wier on Sunday, apart from 1 error early on he strolled through the game and seemed to have the deffence organised for the first time this season. Egiogh seems like he is bursting to play for us and again i will wait and see how he performs for us before judging him. As Frankie says they arent exactly the big names we all want to see but i think they will do a job for us and help improve our very young team.
