  1. From what ive heard, Manc Utd want Bardsley to replace Neville when he is ready, i really cant see them letting him go for £1 Million and if they are looking to let him go for anywhere near that i would like to think we would get first dibs on him considering he is currently here. Surely we have more to offer the lad than shitty Villa, eventhough they play in the EPL its a mid table place most seasons with the occasional relegation dog fight and pish poor fans whereas we can offer an atmosphere like Saturday which apparantly really impressed him, and a chance to play in Europe every season.
  2. Agreed, i wouldnt mnind Spurs in the group stage.
  3. Noticed on the preview part of the Evening Times site that Ferguson might play a game this week, i cant remember how long he was supposed to be out but i think this is ahead of schedule. It will be great to see him back and injury free.
  4. Dosent sound like he is getting impatient as the mhedia suggested earlier in the week, just another example of how the gutter press turn things around to make a decent story.
  5. I think its similar to the Lee Martin deal mate, both on loan until January.
  6. I can see where you are coming from here Cammy and do agree that people are too quick to panic and ask PLG to chop and change formations but i dont think its too early for the fans to form an opinion on this formation, i for one will be happy to play this formation on Saturday against a team who are going to come out and try to play against us but when it comes to the likes of Dundee Utd at Ibrox i really dont think this formation will ever work when they have two banks of four on the edge of thier penalty area.
  7. Seems to be really realishing the chance to play for us: LEE MARTIN used to 'manage' Rangers players on a computer game and now he's becoming a team mate after signing up on loan from Manchester United. The 19-year-old winger is thrilled to get the chance of being part of the Le Guen Revolution and he is here to make his mark. In an exclusive inteview with Rangers World, Lee has revealed that he can't wait to get his chance in a Rangers shirt and he is after a regular first team slot. He said: "I know a lot of the players by name only. I used to play football computer games and Rangers were one of the teams! "Now these are the guys I will be training with so I'm looking forward to meeting them all and settling in as quickly as possible. "I'm delighted to come to such a club as Rangers. It's unbelievable and I have high expectations during my loan period. The whole reason for me coming her is to improve as a player on and off the pitch." He has already pleased Rangers fans by being part of the Manchester United side that defeated Celtic 3-0 at Parkhead two wqeeks ago and he can't believe he is no back up in Glasgow to sign for the Loght Blues. He said: "It's amazing that I was in Glasgow just a couple of weeks ago to play for Manchester United against Celtic and now here I am signing for Rangers. "It would be brilliant if I could get into the squad for Sunday's game at Dunfermline. My aim is to get into the starting 11 as quickly as possible. "I know this is a new period for Rangers with a new manager and new players so for me to come in and be a part of it is really exciting. I'm really looking forward to it."
  8. There you go mate: FILIP SEBO has a dream of playing in next season's Champions League after qualifying for the last two tournaments and missing out both times! Sebo helped Artmedia Bratislava qualify in 2005 but moved to Austria and missed out on the action as the Slovakians knocked out Celtic and then drew with Rangers twice in the group phase. He then aided Austria Vienna to the championship last season but made the switch to Ibrox as they prepapred to take on Benfica for a place in this year's group phase, drawing 1-1 with the Portugusese men in the first leg last night. Now he wants the championship with Rangers so he can finally get his chance for as crack at Europe's biggest stage. He said: "When I was at Artmedia Bratislava it was a really nice time for me. I won the championship with them and they got into the Champions League then I changed my club and went to Austria. "Then they won the league and got in the Champions League and I changed clubs again! "So I hope this year I can win the league and play in the Champions League with Rangers next season. "This season though we have the UEFA Cup. The UEFA Cup is a very nice cup and is one of the most important in Europe after the Champions League and I am satisfied I can play in this tournament this year and I hope we can do well."
  9. I wont be there either, my clown of a football manager arranged a pre-season friendly on Sunday afternoon so someone else from my bus will get my ticket.
  10. Ive heard that PLG has a right back in mind, will be interesting to see how quickly we act now that Nando has gone. Im just glad we have finally sorted it out.
  11. I would like to see: ------------------Letizi--------------- Hutton-----Svensson-----J-Rod----Smith -----------Hemdani----Clement-------- Sionko------------Burke-----------Adam ------------------Boyd----------------- Eventhough i think Buffel has been playing well without scoring, i would like to see Burkey given a chance in his role, i think he could do well. I was swaying between Boyd and Sebo but i would prefer Boyd as he is the most prolific goalscore we have at the club.

    The Sun Today

Im pretty sure it says in the Sun that Rangers have taken action on the cleaning sub-contractor.
  13. I agree mate, i remember Hutton puting in some really good tackles on Saturday and i was more than happy with the way he performed. To me it seems that he is the fans new scapegoat for the season, i was getting really pissed off with some of the abuse shouted at him from my area on Saturday.
  14. Well done Fraser. Im really looking forward to tomorrow now, it seems i have a Blue Card as well. Mon The Bears, lets show the new manager and players what a big club they have joined.

I also have Sky multiroom its shocking that you cant watch the channel on both boxes but its exactly the same when you buy a Sky Box Office event, i bought the Hatton fight a while back and the Mrs tried to kick me into the room to watch it, thats when i realised i couldnt. So i kicked her into the room
  16. Must be past my bed time, cant believe i didnt see that thread.
  17. I was just reading an article in the evening times regarding Sebo and at the end it mentions that we played a reserve game against Bradford City and Krissy Boyd scored 6 Goals. Anybody any further details on this game? http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/hi/sport/6027677.html
  18. To be honest i am struggling to see how we are going to fit in Dado Boyd and Sebo so IMO Nacho will be a squad player at best. I mean i really want to play for Rangers, dosent mean im going to get a game though.

    UEFA Cup

If i remember correctly there is a first round prior to the group stages which we go straight into but its not actually a qualifier. I might be wrong though.
  20. Agree with that team, does anyone else think that Rae might get Hemdani's job in there after his fine pre-season performances?

  25. I had a great night, just woke up with a tad of a hangover. The legends were superb, looking forward to getting the pictures back, Roberts conducting us in a sing song was one of the highlights of my night. Frank Robb was superb, i was scared to move incase i caught his attention and got it ripped out me. Thanks to Frankie, Ian & Del for a superb night.
