Foreigners Keeper - Niemi - Since we cant have Klos. Defender - Amo - I was going to say Numan but feel we need CB's more than LB just now. Midfielder - Gazza - Simply a joy to watch, the guy is a genius and i still dig my old gazza video out now and again. Striker - Mols - Deadly, ive so many great memories of this guy turning defenders and leaving them for dead. Scots Keeper - Goram - No Contest and i would have him before Klos as well. Defender - Gough - Best Defender i can remember at Gers and we are still trying to replace him. Midfielder - McCall - Superb Workrate and the ability to match. Striker - Ally McCoist - Simply Superb. This post has cheered me right up.

Couldnt agree more mate, the reserve team is an ideal opportunity to get these guys some match practice and fitness meaning when we do have to call on them they are in a lot better condition.

Healy is a strange one, there is an argument both ways, he isnt exactly prolific at club level yet he is banging them in for NI. Personally i think it would be worth taking a chance on him, depending on the fee and wages, anyone know his contract situation? Would we have to pay decent money for him?

picky? What do you mean mate? im just pointing out a possible problem with that system which i think would happen on a regular basis given the inconsistancy (sp) of the referees and linesmen in this country.

What if the two linesmen on the same half of the pitch disagree on a decision, a player being offside or if the balls over the line for example? Personally i couldnt see this working.

Yep, i dont disagree with any of what you are saying there cammy and i would love a player who can hold the ball up, has pace, has a great first touch, can bring others into the game, works hard and is great in the air but im pretty sure i would play him alongside Kris Boyd who can add the one element missing and can score goals as well. I dont think its possible to get a player especially on our budget and in our league who can do all of the above playing up front on his own. IMO Boyd should play until we have that better option and we shouldnt even consider "punting" him until we are sure we wont miss his goals.

Theres no point in me answering questions you allready know the answer to. Celtic games alone wont decide if we win the league or not and at the risk of repeating myself he has only played 8 European games, ok hes only got 2 goals but IMO he can and will improve with the more European games he plays.

Its the games against the Dunfermlines, Dundee Utds, ICTs of this world that have left us so far behind them. How many attempts has he really had at Europe?

Thats 2 players in how long? In the case of Larsson he started poorly for septic, the way Rangers fans are dismissing players just now, he wouldnt have even been given a chance. another thing, who detrermines what games are "big games" and what goals are "important goals" ? We have taken as many points off Septic as they have taken off us this season so it is our games against the "smaller teams" that have left us trailing them by 16 points, so surely every game is an "important game" when you are a Rangers player.

I know mate, im sure we will be able to pick up a striker like that for a couple of hundred thousand in the summer, we are playing in the SPL afterall, how could any player refuse to come to us?

Thats a good shout mate, if he is determined to stick to 4-5-1 then Burke is a much better option than Rae, i would really like to see 4-4-2 with Boyd and Sebo up front, we need to score and i think the hard work of Sebo will allow Boyd to do what he does best.

I agree with some of what you are saying mate. The only two points i disagree with are Klos, who done brilliantly last night at shot stopping but i dont think he should be playing until the end of the season, he dosent fill me with confidence with high balls and kicking is a big part of being a goalkeeper, to have a defender taking goal kicks all the time is poor, maybe when a keeper has a knock but not everytime we have a goal kick, it puts us on the back foot and allows the opposition to push right up waiting for the ball to get pumped back up towards our penalty area. The only other point is Kris Boyd who was totally posted missing last night and should never ever get played up front on his own again. I dont agree that many fans in the stadium could offer what he can, if he is playing up front with a decent partner i believe he is worth a place in the team but im not going to get into all that again. Smith really needs to get his finger out his arse, all this Mr nice guy not wanting to upset either Ferguson Hemdani or Thompson by dropping them isnt good enough, everyone knows playing one up front didnt work for PLG and imo we have been pretty fortunate to get away with it for the few games before last night, i really hope that last night has taught Walter that this will not do. We are not some we didy Scottish team who play a containing game hoping for a break up the park, We should be dominating and enforcing ourselves in games.

I agree mate, when you really look at thier team, they are not that great, yes they are winning the league at a canter but Hesselink and Nakamura aside they dont have many class players.

Your right, we should be aiming for a lot better quality players and like Cammy says we need a cash injection, i just didnt agree that the guys that are coming in are no better than Sionko and Papac, they might not be what we should be buying but IMO they are still an improvement on what we have just now.

I dont Understand, the guys coming in arent good enough when they havent had a chance yet, then you use the same excuse to defend Sebo, these guys have impressed in thier current smaller clubs and are young, surely they can only improve as players while at Rangers.

I agree he offers more outside the box mate but if hes playing up on his own can we really afford him to be working his arse off outside the box?

Looking at this team i dont see where we will get 2 or 3 goals from, Prso dosent spend enough time in the box to be a goal threat.

I think it will just mean he has competition and therefore will have to perform at a high standard week in week out to ensure he stays in the team, the same thing will go for Broadfoot.

Im no so sure about the Boro game m8, they seem to be grinding out results just now, they have only lost 1 game in the last 12. I would take Boro and Arsenal shouldnt really have a hangover considering it was thier second string team who played in the final, so i would take them as well.
