What will Rangers achieve this seaon?
trublusince1982 replied to ranger_syntax's topic in Rangers Chat
Is there a team in Scotland who can withstand being harried while keeping possession comfortably? we push the ball in numbers very well, not sure if there is a team who will dominate possession against us in the league above. Our possession might drop to 55% etc then it is all down to how we create goals and how clinical we are. Would have liked a striker added but cant be too greedy! The only thing that worries me slightly is taking our foot off the gas at times, that can become a bad habit that eventually bites you in the ass. We cant do that against(so called) bigger teams. -
last one i can remember was the big vat fraud case to do with computer parts. edit -quick google search finds a few http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-20729940 http://www.computerworlduk.com/news/it-vendors/four-found-guilty-of-30-million-mobile-phone-computer-hardware-vat-fraud-3503549/ http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/scotlands-most-wanted-fraudster-michael-3023539

Once found guilty I would expect apologies, resignations and the returning of fines as a minimum.

Glad to hear that mate you are due an apology from more than a few. Not that you should hold your breath waiting on them! Unfortunately he gets no due from me he rounded on his own in the defence of those who were obviously out to do the club wrong. He was unhappy with my comments which have all pretty much now been proven to be true. Every platform that was used be it unwittingly or not will hopefully have learned a valuable lesson ,but I doubt it in this specific case. Far more likely they will hide behind excuses of ignorance even when they were told over and over what was happening and who the culprits were. They chose instead to silence those who were critical of their part. That being said the past is the past, thankfully it looks like we are through the other side and getting stronger and stronger and Long may it continue.

League Cup 3rd Round: Rangers v St Johnstone - Live on BBC1 Scotland

Wonder I'd they will do a montage of Warburton holding our crest aloft while he crushes all our rivals underfoot? -
Time to show our teeth lifetime ban for rodent, remove all privileges given to BBC employees for 12 months and release a statement condemning the BBC for being unable to stop their employees from misleading the public.

Season ticket sales of £9m boost Rangers shares bid
trublusince1982 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Think the deficit was around £6m last year . With savings and increased income and a little bit of luck in cups can see it being down around £2m -£3m. Fag packet maths but don't think we will see major fund raising until the start of next season. -
Hopefully another record! Was told earlier it took us until Nov to score 30 last year!

if only you had said could have helped you out your dry spell! :-P

Jimmy Sinclair: It wasn't my job to tell Rangers managers...
trublusince1982 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
for me this interview epitomises everything that was wrong with our clubs structure football wise for the last ten years or so. Defeatist attitudes expressed by defeated men. Thank god they are finally gone. -
Wage budget will be about £4m- £5m for the first team I reckon.

We are hiring his ideas and experience which have not benefited any of his previous employer's .there is nothing to suggest he will fair any better at us. The spfl has one of the worst commercial departments in Scotland to then bring this guy in on the strength of his experience to steer the ship is laughable. The Spfl commercial department are a laughing stock unable to understand their customers or sponsors wants Think these appointments recently from SPfL or spl associates are just our way of buying favour. Would rather we brought in people on the strength of their work rather than their contacts and friendships

you would hope any appointment would be to improve the situation not continue it.
