  1. With all of these 'high-profile' people leaving, does this mean the SFA have finally run out of our money they obtained under the 5-way agreement? I mean, reduced sponsorship, reduced TV income and reduced crowds for matches - they have after all alienated half of the Scotland team's support. It almost makes you feel sorry for Stu and Pete !!
  2. Maybe not, but he`s the best we`ll get on a bosman and better than anything we have right now.
  3. I don`t think we had lost our place, it just had to be transferred from the old company to the new company. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/clubs-have-crucial-say-in-rangers-future-as-spl-prepare-to-take-disciplinary-action.17914719 Disciplinary proceedings will begin once the status of the newco, The Rangers Football Club, has been established, with all 12 SPL clubs voting on the application to transfer the oldco's league share on July 4.
  4. Keep it. We don`t need to be bought off so cheaply.
  5. Is there not an investigative journalist anywhere in the U.K. that will do a comparison piece on the treatment of Rangers and Hearts by the Scottish Football community?
  6. He`s still going to Ibrox right now, and if Butcher comes he`s going to stop. Ergo, whatever is on display right now must be at least reasonably palatable or he would already be gone.
  7. We can`t afford quality right now, you know this. When we get back to the premiership then the board can justify buying some quality, but we have to get there first. As for youth, how much more do we need - Gasparotto, McLeod, Crawford, Aird, MacKay, Gallagher, etc. - all being brought forward and will be ready for the Premiership? Really, nothing else is more important right now - not the standard of football, the board crap, the fan infighting, nothing - other than us getting back to the Premiership. That`s when the board can make things happen.
  8. No we shouldn`t. We have to make sure we get into their league first before splashing whatever cash we have. We are getting these guys for nothing other than a wage, and if we let go another three or four players then with what has already gone, we should be able to handle three or four new guys.
  9. So, does that mean Ally is not so bad after all?
  10. That was interesting. Who would have thought there was so much involved. Kudos to the ground staff.
  11. ****s aren`t going to stop until they have it all.
  12. It`s kind of sad for his family to see a man fall so far. His choice though ...
  13. Then don`t go back. Bitter wee man. Bitter, bitter we man.
  14. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/galleries/item/7026-wallace-meets-narsa-fans Saturday, 07 June 2014 20:00 Wallace Meets NARSA Fans Written by Rangers Football Club RANGERS fans got their chance to put questions to Graham Wallace this afternoon at the 2014 NARSA convention in Toronto. The club’s chief executive flew into Canada yesterday to visit the gathering of more than 1,000 Light Blues followers in North America. He discussed a variety of issues at the club and we’ll hear from him exclusively on the official club website tomorrow. Also in attendance were first-team stars Fraser Aird, Nicky Clark, Stevie Smith and Lewis Macleod and each spoke about the forthcoming Championship campaign. Ex-Gers favourite Willie Henderson was on stage too as he revealed why he left Ibrox before the European Cup Winners’ Cup final in 1972. Fans liaison officer Jim Hannah completed the party who were hosted by event compere Tom Miller and a gallery of pictures from the session can be seen below.
  15. I believe Reid may have him trumped there. However, Reid - gone, O`Neill - gone, Lennon - gone, just one more to go: Liewell. Then we can get back to normal levels of poison.
  16. You don`t trust the board, you don`t trust the fans, I`m interested to know who would gain your trust and why. Be specific.
  17. Who do you want to own the team then? Give me a name, not some abject theory.
  18. Here`s the guy`s follow up email. Even they did not know how big a club we were ... Hi XXXXXX, It was great speaking with you yesterday! As discussed, once the game is announced to the public and pricing is available I will pass along all of the information to you. Here is the 3D seating chart for the new stadium: http://www.seats3d.com/soccer/ottawa_fury/ I was doing some research yesterday after our phone call and I cannot believe the amount of support the Rangers FC have not only Worldwide but in Ontario alone! Unbelievable! In the meantime if you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me and I will gladly assist you. 19. The tweet is from KJ. How often has he proved to be less than true?
  20. I agree with you about the tournament. But there again, I get to see the Mighty Glasgow Rangers this year, the first game for my wee bride since the Scottish Cup final in 1973, the Tom Forsyth goal; so I have to be thankful for small mercies !!
  21. You know what, WBD, I honestly think that the stress level and the accompanying despair of a lot of the support will slowly start to dissipate now that the poison(TLB) has gone from the equation. People will start to calm down as the beligerent agitation subsides. All this stuff with the board etc. will be sorted. The world will unfold as it should. We are, after all, Rangers.
