Rangers could face punishment over sectarian chanting
SteveC replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Yet nothing is said when Dundee fans sing about being up to their names in Arab blood or Thistle fans sing 'fuck the Pope and fuck the Queen' or sellick fans sing about mass murderers. It's only when we sing about something.... -

Now, about his contract ;-)

Is that definite? I knew they were moving towards it and it seemed a formality http://www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/s...tay_at_Morton/ but perhaps something went wrong. The deal isn't quite completed in the above article and it hints at obstacles plus this on the official site recently still says January: http://rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/rangers-loan-watch-5/

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard

One wonders what Davie Weir says to our centre backs during training, None of them have ever looked secure - and they never seem to improve. -
Thanks Ian, bloody odd opening sentence though

That's true - I am, though, worrying about how decisions will affect future title bids. It's quite clear that everyone in power never wants us to be at the top again. They might want us there for TV and sponsorship deals and they surely want us there to kick about and persecute further but they won't want us to have any chance of actually winning.

Milne keen to see Rangers and Hibs in top division
SteveC replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The gall of the bit I have highlighted is gobsmacking. -
My worry with that interview is not with what he says but that he presents it all as though it is a one-off and the first time he has had to say it, It isn't and that makes the point about "we'll learn and improve..." hard to take at face value as he's said that before and we have not. Or, rather, we have for a game or two and then slipped back. Two wins in five league games is a worrying stat that self-evidently does not come down to a one-off 'bad day at the office'. Even after two slip ups we could and should have been going into the upcoming Falkirk and Hibs games with a nice cushion. Now you feel that we have to win them - which would certainly make the table look a helluva lot rosier!

On a related point, FF report that "Regan to discuss Refs strike,Rangers crisis & 5 way agreement on Radio Scotland at 18:30" They are all coming out with statements and interviews all of a sudden............ This bhastard's part in the criminal attacks on us will rankle forever. Edit: Apparently it is pre-recorded. I can't bring myself to listen to either the station or the creature.
