Until past few years can only recall John Greig sporting a beard which as I remember, he had to let grow due to a bad chin injury, but kept it as his "lucky mascot" as we were on the Cup Winners Cup run which ended in glory.

Yes "Big Jock" was a legend and always will be for the successes he landed us. Meanwhile Brenda showed he is beginning to crack with his whining about teams only raising their games against his mhanky mob, whereas we on here have been lamenting the fact that this is normal practice for teams playing us. Really hope that we do the business and look forward to the mhedia and scum meltdown.

Problem is Union Bears are in the whole relatively young and with this type of hatred festering will they pass this on to their off-spring in later years?.I dread to think this and could cause an unsatisfactory blemish in the future on how our beloved is supported.

Looking forward to Sunday and think great article from JMc and that team will pick itself if all relevant players fit. IMO we should pressure their midfield in their own half and have someone like Docherty constantly in the face of Brownto not allow him to play his simple game of 5-10 yard passing. Come on the Gers

Exciting times yes but if Brown/Kipre and the like get him I shudder to think how long he could be out.

They had a march a couple of months ago, from Ibrox Subway Station, which to me served no purpose other than to promote their inflated egos and this one seems even worse, hopefully the club will register their disgust as it cannot be seen to condone this.

The Cup Final of 1973 and "Jaws" six inch screamer also because it was the only game my wife to be ever attended. I think the size of crowd and noise put her off so I can honestly say that she is the only person I know with a 100% win attendance.

I am not apathetic to this but as a pensioner money has to be carefully utilised and I do not have much disposable cash. -
Like Bill I don't have any affinity to European or English clubs and also from any other part of the world. Sure there are no doubt some great clubs and players but I am a Rangers fan and that is all that matters to me.

Going back to the original gist of this thread being the ban from Dundee, maybe they don't want to remember they along with other SPFL clubs said they could survive without us and their possible financial problems being highlighted are an embarrassment.

We have players now that "AIN'T BLOODY SCARED" plus a manager who knows the score thanks to having Jimmy Nic. beside him.

Must have been used razor blades no self respecting bear would send anything new to mhank scum

I like any team that can stuff the Mhanks.
-
Agreed Buster but we have to hope we have a manager who can see that.

Only been at piggery twice once for our cup game(final) and other time to see my old class mate Danny McGrain, along with many others from Kingsridge Secondary School, make his senior league debut.

See post #19 but thanks for highlighting it Bearger. By the way when you went to games did you use the ferry,it brings back fond memories of the adventures aboard it,the singing, being packed like sardines, the dangers of alighting and boarding and even seeing some stepping off mid river because the boat had stopped and being quickly hauled with the boat hook.

Spoke to him at the Davy Copper memorial night in Thornton suite and said "last time I was at an event in which he appeared was when he got POTY award in Kelvin Hall venue". He smiled at the memory and confirmed to those he was with,Alex Totten and a couple of others That he remembered that night and being presented with a set of golf clubs. -
