Are Contract Renewals and Transfer Dealings Indefinitely On Hold
pete replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I am not sure that you can judge anyone on training alone as some players try harder in training than in games and vice versa. I would like to have seen these players getting some game time before kicking them out. I suppose we have enough experience in the training staff to judge these things though. -
Gers To Face Linfield - Saturday July 16
pete replied to Rangers Football Club's topic in Rangers Chat
In the context of being on a 3year probationary period for singing so called sectarian songs I am not sure that this is in the best Interest of the club I just hope that a a few hundred thousand appearance money does not turn into million pound bans or fines. -
Lets hope there is no friendship clique going on with Ally to bring BF back to Rangers. Maurice Edu and big Lee may not be perfect but at least they are team players and not big headed arrogant players(being polite) that think they are a class better than everyone else. In a forward position BF could not get anywhere near Stevie Naismith and lying deeper, Barry looking in a mirror to check that his hair is in position before passing is not the road we want to go back to. I am starting my own we petition. NO BARRY FERGUSON AT IBROX!!!!!:admin:

McCoist makes his first signings - Twin Norwegian defenders
pete replied to Gazza_8's topic in Rangers Chat
Do Rangers get a fee for the education of these youngsters or does the fact that they are released mean they leave for nothing? -
I wasn't being narky with you Ian I was just pointing out the fact that we were all so positive over the Sebo video but if we were to make a you tube film of his Rangers goals it will be a very short one. I enjoyed watching the video's as well but as I say I will judge him if he becomes a Rangers player as it is a different league and circumstances.

Now that must have caused a tsunami in Scotland.

I doubt if Mrs Miller and her children would have found been stuck in Turkey without speaking the language a new venture and life changing opportunity. In fact I will almost bet my bottom dollar on it that that is the reason he wants back to Scotland. For the player it is possibly a new venture as he is away training and meeting people. I think it was the boy Duffy whose wife said she could not settle in Cardiff in Blue Heaven the other night and most people would speak English there. As taking players away from their home managing, yes they do as they are living the dream and have plenty of contact outside the home. Players wives are put in a house or Hotel have no friends about to talk to except on the phone. Can you imagine Mrs Miller going down to the local Supermarket to meet people and everyone babbling in a foreign language. I think it was the Gary O'Conner? who had the same problem with his wife in Russia, she couldn't settle either. There will be Wives who do settle but in my own experience not many will where there is a huge cultural and Language barrier.

Funny enough it is your family that suffer in this situation. They are pulled away to a foreign land where they cannot speak the language. It is okay for the players as they are training and meet different people but the wives are normally left in a hotel or house looking at the 4 walls. I know from experience living in Holland. Guy's who came on their own had a great time and many stayed here but nearly all who came as a couple never settled mostly because the wife or girlfriend couldn't settle.

I remember us all thinking Sebo was great after watching a you tube film so I am afraid I will judge him when and if he plays for Rangers. He certainly looks good on You tube.
-
I can't see how he can sue yet as he has only been suspended on full pay. I think the paper is thinking ahead.
-
Jordan McMillan could still make it but I doubt it will be for Rangers.
-
NI are making it easy for them. A short pass back and an own goal.

Thanks Ian I saw that last week but forgot about it. For the ones who don't know they followed young players years ago including Charlie Adam. Where are they now?
-
Did you even have to mention that possibility. I am off to slit my wrists even at the thought of that happening.

I have no info on how the record got their story so I cannot comment on that but it was obviously announced to the stock-market, so they could have got it from there. I have not looked at the main site but it could have been announced there. The media is also a way to reach the fans quickly that is why we are discussing this now and I have totally no problem that information is passed on that way. Surely you can better tell them the truth rather than people making up stories. just my view on things.

BD I thought that that was one of the things we wanted in a new regime. Transparency. At least it is not smoke and mirrors. Well on the surface anyway.

It is always hard to believe when someone is caught with their fingers in the cookie jar as it is mostly people you don't expect it from. Our recruitment boss decided to throw out all job agencies and move all new recruitments to one Job agency. It turned out later that his daughter was a manager of that agency and she had received a huge bonus for gathering in all the contracts from our company. He was removed from his function at first given a made up Job and then was later asked to resign.

Just when you think you have heard it all then there is always something turns up that totally amazes you, something you never thought possible. For all the old fogies amongst us who remember the Black and white minstrel show( White singers with their faces painted black) and the Robertson Golly we all thought then that it was unbelievable that these everyday part of life for years, could all of a sudden become racist. Then just last week it was determined that the Smurfs, those lovely wee blue cartoon characters, were judged to be sexist and racist. Seemingly there is only one female Smurf and she is portrayed as weak and the bad guy is always dressed in black. So all of a sudden wearing black has become racist? The Police must be standing at Anne Robinsons door as I speak. I wonder if the Smurfs being blue has anything to do with it? The headlines in nearly all the papers this week was that postman pat was arrested because he was carrying a parcel addressed to Neil Lennon. The poor wee fucking guy hadnââ?¬â?¢t managed to get to Specsavers yet. He had driven through five country lane walls three landscaped gardens, hit two bus shelters and a lamp post. When the Police pulled him out of his van they found a parcel addressed to Neil Lennon. Dangerous driving ? ââ?¬Å?Naw weââ?¬â?¢ll let ye af wi that but having a parcel for Neil Lennon that is a sectarian breach of the pieceââ?¬Â I wonder if his defence will be that it canââ?¬â?¢t sectarian as he is called Pat and therefore a Paddy. As the Scottish Cup Final nears I am starting to feel a bit sorry for Motherwell. Instead of going out and enjoying the occasion they are going to have the fear of god in them not to do anything that upsets the Celtic team. I can just see the Darren Randolph the Motherwell keeper coming out for a high ball shouting ââ?¬Å?MINEââ?¬Â. All of a sudden Neil Lennon is hitting the deck with the rest of the Celtic dugout jumping on top of him to protect him. EntrÃ?©e two Glasgow Bobbies and the keeper is huckled for breach of the piece aggravated by religious prejudice. As Randolph disappears down the tunnel with the two Bobbies he is heard shouting ââ?¬Å?Oh come oan this isnae fair Iââ?¬â?¢m Irish.ââ?¬Â Of course Celtic havenââ?¬â?¢t been slow to play the victim card this season, with refereeââ?¬â?¢s the SFA the SPL and every team they play against all being prejudiced against them. They never get penalties and other teams never let them win, never beaten always cheated. Now I have read that a religious sect is combing the globe at this minute claiming that, it is written in the bible that the world will be ending on the 21st of May. I now have a picture in my head of Celtic being 4-0 up against Motherwell this afternoon. The clock shows just seconds to go. Celtic are passing the ball around playing out time to the end of the game. Then the fucking world ends. Now there is victimisation for you. If the world does not end before the final whistle goes at Hampden Lennon has stated that win or lose his team will be returning to Parkhead for an end of season party. He said it will be good for the morale of the team and it will allow me to release a few balloons. Taxi!!!!

I think everyone was feeling nervous about this one. Helicopter Sunday revenge was sitting high on our nerves. Thankfully the boys cured our nerves after 7 mins.

Thanks a lot mate but on the radio it is only live games that are not open. Great for everybody that misses it though.
-
Not as long as it is not live and it is later than the original screening according to this..
-
I hope it wasn't anything derogatory to Neil Lennon.

Agreed more walking on tip toes than bulldozing any problems. Poor Quality all round and the bit with let's get the meaning of 2 supporters was just laughable.

I think I mentioned most of those points in the post that I made but I think the programme were questioning the fact as to why only 6 people had been banned so i don't really see why that makes the programme biased against us. Stating that Celtic refused to work with the programme is also not biased against us as far as I can see. I did say that having a film of Hearts supporters singing and not the Celtic support wasn't very good but I can only imagine as I stated in my post was not to make it look lop sided against Celtic. I am sure if they really wanted to they could have asked Sky for a video of the Tyncastle game to show on the programme. I am afraid I didn't take enough notice of the website posts to say it was only Rangers posts that were on it. As the rest of the programme was balanced out 1 for 1 I find it hard to believe they done that to be honest but I would need to watch again to be sure. As I said I did not find it particularly biased against Rangers but I did find it a cheap scratching at the surface and at times stupid documentary.
