Yes I live in Hengelo in the east of Holland. I have been here for 31 years longer than I was in Britain.

Sorry just checked again and there has been a later update that Rijkaard is denying it and saying he has had no contact with Villa. Apologies but they were saying it was signed and sealed this afternoon and I have been out since then.

On all the Dutch Websites.

Frank Rijkaard is taking over at Villa. He probably knows Cuellor from his time in Spain.

I just don't like Jol and Allardyce they come across to me as "I know and will do it my way" type of people. I think both their reputations are bigger than their deeds.

Manager confirms Argentina scouting trip

I have sent a few e-mails to Rangers in the past pointing out talent in the 2nd division in Holland but never ever got a reply. Honda who was with VVV in the 2nd division at the time was one and he eventually went to Russia for 9 mill euro's. -
Have we not had Killie the last few years?

It is the ones with the dodgy knees that we will be looking for. -
I am not one of Walters biggest fans but that was a fantastic programme. It breaks my heart when I see how good Ian Durrant was. I really think he could have been one of our best players ever if he was not clogged out the game.

The story was indeed taken from a Dutch website but their source is put in brackets which says (Bild)

Everton are understood to have made their pitch to land David Weir in a coaching role for next season. The 41-year-old is out of contract at Rangers but has said he would like to play on next term, although that could depend on the level of offer he is made. Weir left Goodison in January 2007 to join Rangers and, with his wife and family still in the north-west of England, there is huge temptation surrounding any coaching post back with his old club. This seems to be the main players at the moment.

Saying that Frings was thinking about stopping but Rangers are trying to change his mind. He was ready to stop but sees a spell in Scotland positively. Taken from the Bild Germany's biggest paper.

Wilson certainly looked good in the season he played and a year at Liverpool may have improved him.
-
I really want to believe that. I can just imagine Murray's face.
-
How the hell did he get such a good looking bird?:surprised: I thought up to the end of the season he was a big dick, I guess I got was and has mixed up.

The whole football set-up in Holland is streets ahead of Scotland. I have written articles on here a few times covering the subject. The fact is that there is a level for everyone to play in. My son even plays in a handicapped league where there are players with all different handicaps from heavily handicapped to some where you can hardly see a handicap at all. Anyone who wants to play football in Holland can get a game without having to trudge about looking for a team. Having all different levels for everyone means that late developers are not lost to the sport they just drop down a level and try and fight to get promoted again.

I don't know as I won't click on the link and give the guy a hit. All our debt has been removed from lloyds so we do not need to pay them back so why should our assets go into security for bank funding? All the assets can now go into the new company running the club. Just my idea on things, Craig or BD will be able to say better.

Don't believe much you read on that site mate it is Celtic orientated crap.

The Dutch certainly do have a much better system but the fact is that the much spoke about Ajax system is actually not near the best in Holland at this time. They were actually put in the 13th place for academies in Holland. There has been a lot of trouble at Ajax in the last few months with Johan Cruiff now set to take over to try and get the club back on top. He is going to totally restructure the youth development there. The Ajax youth policy that everyone hears about was a thing from the 70's-80's from then on it is only a myth.

I seem to remember you saying there were no songs banned so I guess there is shite spouted from all sides. -

I could say nothing but I would imagine that there is a higher risk of certain songs being sung there. I may be wrong though and I hope I am. -

Unfortunately it has come to the point where we are a few people singing away from a ban that will cost us millions. And yes I hope anyone hell bent on singing the songs that are banned will stay away. Rangers FC do not need them or the songs.
