If he is willing to play a lesser role then he would be a good squad player but I would hope Bougie and Bartley are our centre-backs next season

Will Walter want to have another go at the Premiership?
pete replied to calscot's topic in Rangers Chat
I lost all respect for Levein when he played a 6-5-0 formation. What a disaster that was and against all things that you want to see in a football team. -
The guy was an idiot on and off the field and deserved all the stick he got. He also didn't look like he could run without falling over his own legs until recently let alone control a ball. He certainly does look like he is maturing however and his recent performances have let us see that he actually is a good football player. As Craig says he definitely deserves to get another chance if Ally is going to play 4-4-2. If Ally is going to play 4-5-1 then I would prefer another type of player for him as he is no left winger.

O'Connor & Ian Black in ââ?¬Ë?coke bustââ?¬â?¢

Gary O Conner was linked with Celtic so he will be in good company. -
The pass to Jelavic to score in the league cup final was absolutely sublime. First of all he had the vision to see it was on and then he had the skill to put it in precisely the right spot from roughly 30 yards away. That was total class. I think he can only improve so i will be glad to see him back.

Kiddyfiddlerstreet Timplosion - Final day scenario
pete replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
He is not bad and scores some good goals from long distance shots but to be honest he is not one that gets me keek'n ma breeks. He is a bit of a dribbler but a bit like Weiss to be honest he always cuts inside to shoot. He very rarely hits the byeline. -
A few things. Rewrite the calscot bit and get this on the main site. Sorry Cal. I have to be totally honest here but in an interview Lennon actually did say having a run of draws in December together with losing at Inverness cost them the league.

Just another little fact. The champions of Scotland, England and Holland all have managers with a Rangers history. -
The first game was against Callendar fc in May 1872 at Flesher's Haugh,Glasgow Green which ended in a goalless draw. Shortly after this game the club was set up and office-bearers chosen The second game also in 1872 was against a team called Clyde( not the same as now) and they wore light blue strips for the first time. In that time the players changed behind a clump of tree's and payed young kids to watch their clothes.

It was always thought it was 1872 but I believe the first real evidence was 1873 so that was accepted. Recently it has been agreed that 1872 was the real date i believe.

And definitely deserves to start as striker next season but 5 or 6 games doesn't make you a great player. Hopefully he can prove he is a great player next season.
-
Yep so do I. I piss myself at that.
-
I think I will wait a while before I call him a great player.
-
That is what you get when you have a one man ownership. If we do see the club is being run wrong though we can make our voices heard though. It may or may not help though.

Our players' assists in the SPL this season - Weiss is No.1

To be honest I think the movement of Naismith is the difference that makes us play as well as we did in the last 5 or 6 games. If Naismith falls away we are far more static. He really is wasted stuck out on the wing he needs to have that rambling role where he is almost impossible to mark. -
I don't think you were the only one that was pissed and not just in the Neptune club.

Will Walter want to have another go at the Premiership?
pete replied to calscot's topic in Rangers Chat
He wanted to step out of the way of McCoist and was pissed off at the bank running things. Later he didn't want to back-track and let McCoist down. He did say that he was open to managing another team though I am sure. -

I am sure he said he wasn't retiring but wanted to manage another club. -
It looks like Frankie has went on a bender and disappeared off the radar.

Nah I think it was 9 out of 18 although 9 out of 9 sounds better.

We could ask the beeb to say we were 3 up within 6 minutes. Nah they would never believe that.
