I had to smirk at a statement that Hibs manager John Hugh's made during the week. When asked if he was going to buy Alan Gow. He stated i don't know at this moment, but we are one of the few clubs building at this moment. The new stand is almost ready. Thats team building! What about that karate kick from Nigel de Jong in the World cup final. A frontal kick in karate is called a Mae Geri. This was more a mad cloggy than a mae Gerry. Over to our neighbours on the dark-side. They have been bringing in a few players. They are hoping Joe Ledley will bring the roof down. Well i suppose they have a good insight to that as tims roofs and lead are well known to each other. They have also been looking at Lee grant. Well where there are grants there are tims wanting one. Lennon is also hoping to bring in a few Scottish names. Sol cambell and Cha Durry He has also brought in Efrain Juarez from ENAM Pumas and Daryl Murphy from the Black cats. Well i suppose they will be quite happy working with a Pussy like Lennon. Most players are given a short name when they join another club. I think Lenny bought Efrain Juarez only for his short name: Ef Rainjurz. Taxi!!! Gone on holiday to avoid the flack!

I just wish all teams would get together and say when your contract is over you are on half money. Players wages are at a crazy level and crippling football clubs. I really hope that Fifa keep their promise and don't allow clubs with unsustainable debt into Europe. Players wages need to be brought back to a realistic level clubs can afford to pay.

Okay I actually quit like Holman. He is pretty talented. I just wonder where we are going to fit him in. I really do think he would do well in the SPL. IMO he is a player who can best play behind a striker. Him and Miller could possibly be a dream couple. He is for sure a better player than Boyd, but he will never score as many goals. He will link up play far better than Boyd imo.

Absolutely fantastic news that we are scouring the youth system looking for Gems. I have been saying all along that finding a gem in the local park is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Scouring the youth teams of Prof clubs and looking for a gem that has lost his shine but can be re-polished or from countries that are a bit cheaper is the way to go. Ilia, who FC Twente picked up on the cheap at 21, who couldn't get a game for the Hague is an example that gems can be found.

We can't offer you a wage but we do make you wear a suit and bowler hat. You won't get richer but it will make you a better person. Well i suppose it is worth a try. You know us traditionalists must stick together. We are the modern day Amish club,lost in the past. Okay i won't answer again as i have no problem with Eagles or anyone else turning up for an interview in denims. A good interviewer can look deeper than the surface.

I have no problem with the Dutch defeat they were beaten by a better team. The referee was Guff but was not the reason the Dutch lost. Well technically he was, it was a corner for the Dutch before the goal and the first phase of the Spanish attack was offside. Bert van Marwijk knew de Jong was a ticking bomb. Robin van Persie never produced anything the whole WC but was kept in the team in hope. I have more problem that the Dutch were given a reception only fit for winners with a boat trip through the Amsterdam canals with applauding fans on the full route ending with a party at museum square with 200.000 supporters. More than a million people poured into Amsterdam to applaud them. Van Marwijk and GIO were given a medal from the Queen. They got through with mediocre football and were heralded as winners. I got carried away in WC emotions that were fantastic here. My house was covered in orange and the Dutch flag. To treat the team as winners was just a step too far for me.

History and tradition were not always what they seemed to be. Misuse of men woman and children(I mean in general and not at Rangers) were often seen to fall under the hood of discipline. I do agree that we need to start trying to bring back respect back into society but i am also glad that ruling with an iron fist is a thing of the past. Being beaten with a leather strap or cane is not a thing that i would like to see being brought back. We are taught many things at school but funny enough one of the most important things for a human being is left to instinct and that is bringing up kids.

Great then but time never stands still. I doubt we would have many players if they had to turn up in a suit and bowler. It may come back into fashion one day though. Who Knows?

Nah they have sort of died a death. I just thought we were getting an Eagle to fly down the wing. Eddy didn't out-jump many people in his career though.

Why is winning the league so important? Because it gives us entry into the CL where we can earn money. Both extremely important in my eyes and in the future we are going to have to win a few CL games before we are in the money rounds Viscous circle really. Win the league to enter CL to earn money to win the league.

Seemingly the media got it wrong and it is Eddy the Eagle we are going for. He stated there are some excellent slopes in Scotland and can't wait to get a shot at Easter road.

Personally i think Edu is a far better player than Thomson and is certainly more likely to crop up with a goal. Is 2 mill enough? Well we could possibly hold out for more but at least we are now in a position to use the 2mill. If Mbro held out until the last day and we got 3mil but couldn't use it would be throwing money to LLoyds or Murray. Walter maybe has learned his lesson after the Kaunas drama. We got 500.000 off Davis but it possibly cost us 10mill. Sometimes less is more.

What a lot of crap. The Dutch give the ball back twice and then should let Spain build up play from the back. Yes right! I am glad you are glad the Spanish won but they won because they were the better team and not because of crap like you are spouting. The Ref was crap from two sides. He lost a lot of control over the game. Nigel de Jonge should have had a purple card it was so red.

I must admit van Bummel was involved in a stamping incident in the first half that should have been red. Sneijder could also have been shown red when de Zeeuw got kicked in the face, for grabbing the guy around the face or neck. Gazza. Robben had to keep diving against Brazil and Uruguay otherwise his ankles would be pulp. The Silky soccer Brazil have become a bunch hackers.
