Watching a Dutch football programme and it would seem Middlesbrough still have to pay 6mill euro's to Herenveen for Alves. Middlesbrough do not have the money to pay it back and are trying to find a club who want Alves and will pay Herenveen. Benfica had an interest but due to injury Alves is out for the time being. Edson Braafheid LB for Twente has a 2mill euro get out clause in his contract. He won't sign a new contract for Twente yet. Excellent attackin defender for a good price.

I don't know what game they were watching then, any danger was coming from Nakamura and down our left hand side. We were lucky Nakamura's final ball had an off day. He was absolutely atrocious yesterday. I would not have let him start the second half. On yesterday's performance i would not have much confidence in putting him in the last line of defence.
